Phillips Beth Israel School of nursing??

dear all, is it hard to get into Phillips Beth Israel School of nursing?? i heard they require to take the pre-nursing exam and do you guys know what subject of matter test on the exam?? is it hard?? since i never take any biology before!!:cry:

Hi Aspiring, I'm taking Nutrition this summer online at Cayuga CC. Never heard of it before, found it on SUNY's online class finder. It's a full 3 credit class that lasts a month and is only $400!! I even checked with NYU to see if they would accept it, and they do. For the form all you have to do is print and fill it out, then get it notarized (banks, tax prep places, real estate offices can do it), and then go to City Hall to get it approved. They have a list of items you should bring with you to City Hall to prove your residency (I used my drivers licence and my 2009 taxes). Hi everyone!

WASHCAPS...how long does application at cayuga take? I need nutrition too. Does proof of residency form need to be sent with registration form? what about transcripts? necessary for taking one class? Thanks!

Hi J-, The application is super quick and I just faxed it to the college. I got an email back the next day saying I was enrolled. The proof of residency took a bit longer as I had to go to get it notarized and go to City Hall. Their instructions for that are very specific so read carefully! If you don't do it right they will charge you as an out of state student (2x the normal price!). Go to this page and it will give you all the info you need: http://www.cayuga-cc.edu/academics/online_learning/ I just started the class last week and I like it, but it's only a month long so you really have to do about 2 chapters a week which involve a written assignment, a quiz, and some discussions. Thank you soooooo ... much for responding! One more thing, how do you pay if registration form is faxed and the campus is a million miles from here? Stupid question perhaps but just wondering. Thank you again.

No worries, once you are registered they send you a username and password so you have access to student services that way. Through there you can pay by credit card (hello rewards miles!) or learn how to send a check. You also get access to your own college email and their version of Blackboard where your class is held. Super easy and all online once you get past the registration part. Good luck!

I was told to take the course at Finger Lakes as well for the Ethics credit, but when I search there is nothing left for summer courses...am I missing something?
