Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone has applied to the Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing in NYC for the coming year? I am looking to get into their part-time evening program that would begin in Spring 2011. I'm taking the NLN this Wed and really nervous about it, really just the verbal part....
hey guys, so i know this is a long ways ahead, but i wanted to know if anyone knew of any nyc/metro schools who had master's programs which allowed you to enter with an ADN + bachelors in a different area other than nursing?
i had recently inquired about a few, and the only ones i found so far were nyu, columbia, and csi (but with 3 years exp), and i think mount saint vincent's as well.
thanks :)

Hello Everyone.....To give those hope who haven't heard much or anything from the school as of yet. I was on vacation this past June 8th to 16th out of country and when I got back I received an email from ** saying that I had my first interview!!!! When I read that email I was dying inside lol and hoped that I didn't miss out on my first chance. Luckily I got another interview on June 23rd so there is still hope for those who haven't heard anything yet!!!!! Im sooo nervous and yet I can't wait until the 23rd!!!
Congratulations to all of those who have already gotten accepted!!!!!!!!!
I went on my interview at BI and I believe it went pretty well. I got a tour and signed a form so I am hoping that those are all good signs. I would be in the ATOP program. Does anyone know any info or prior experiences with that scheduled? I know its 3 days a week and two of the days are 8am-8pm. Just wondering how that will be broken down?
Aleatha- congrats on the interview! You shouldn't worry too much I'm pretty sure youll be offered a seat!the classes r generally thurs 3-8 Fri 8-8 Sat 8-8 but we won't necessarily have classes all day fri sat 8-8 just have to be available. I think 2nd year is when the clinicals become 12 hrs.
