Phillips Beth Israel Applicants

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone has applied to the Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing in NYC for the coming year? I am looking to get into their part-time evening program that would begin in Spring 2011. I'm taking the NLN this Wed and really nervous about it, really just the verbal part....

im waiting for all these other things to come in, like the book list, orientation dates, pda requirements, etc. i want to start class already, haha i know its crazy, but im just anxious after all this waiting these last few months.

Hey guys congrats! Hope to see you in the fall.

For the lab coat you cant reuse your own lab coat cuz we have a logo on it. And for shoes, well I bought it at a scrubs store near my house. Nursemates are supposedly comfortable. Some people wear shape ups.. but theyre really expensive. Nursemate ranges from 50-60 so its alright. And for the white pants.. yea I dont have my originals anymore. Patients does number 1 or 2.. and u cant avoid it. I just replaced it with white pants at the scrubs store as well.

Nurserica-so ppl wear shapeups? Do the shoes have to be completely white? Does this mean that white sneakers r allowed?? I like the reebok runtones but not sure if they're all white...and what is the PDA requirement? Can I use my ipod touch?

Some people wear shape ups some people wear nikes. Well its recommended to get all white cuz you dont get which clinical instructor ur getting. They might be strict with that. I use my ipod touch. Hate skyskape program tho.. you have to renew your subscription or else it will lock u out of your drug guide. I'm not renewing it.. (i jailbroke mine and downloaded something else).

im in trad. i think we all have to take summer classes. summer session 1 anyway for mental psych. But yes, im taking pharmacology this summer. Just dont want to take it in the fall and interfere with my level 2 nursing classes.
