hello everyone, Its already november and i feel like it was just yesterday I taking NLN. So how is everything going with N101. The test style is something to get use to. Im doing okay, getting use to taking critical thinking exams instead of Recall. How is everyone doing so far?

Im in the ATOP program too. Please can anyone email me the book list when you can. Also, I was wondering about the uniforms. This may be a silly question but I was wondering do we wear them for clinicals or to class daily?

How were people notified for the health assessment.

I went on my interview at BI and I believe it went pretty well. I got a tour and signed a form so I am hoping that those are all good signs. I would be in the ATOP program. Does anyone know any info or prior experiences with that scheduled? I know its 3 days a week and two of the days are 8am-8pm. Just wondering how that will be broken down?

PBISON finally called for an interview. I was so excited I made myself exhausted from screaming for joy. i have about a week to get ready and I cant wait. Congrats again to everyone who got accepted for fall and to everyone waiting for a call, keep your head up and stay positive.

Hello everyone, This has been a long process. Im still very hopeful because I have not gotten a rejection letter and my application is still being reviewed. Congratulations to all of those excepted.:yeah::yeah: I hope to get an interview soon. the agony.

Hello everyone, This is a crazy waiting game. Im dying to go the Beth israel and this waiting is very hard. I know good things come to those who wait but Im hearing so many things about The application process of beth israel and Im a little nervous. This is something that is apart of who I am and who I will become. Some just declare a major because it sounds good but Im fighting so hard to because I need to be a skilled, passionate, and dedicated RN. Honestly, My grades have never been this good and I scored in the 96% on the NLN. 10 years ago I did get pretty bad grades but I wrote an explanation and none of those classes were nursing pre-req's. I just really hope I get in to the program. At the end of the day I just want to be accepted to BI. Im staying positive but Im starting to get nervous.

Hi guys, I got my NLN grades finally in the mail and I did ok. I got composite 138 and 96%. I am happy with my scores because the test felt so painful I felt like I had to laugh , cry and vomit at the same time.(lol) I guess I was just very nervous. I really , really want to get in to BI (like all of us.) Starlette- what kinds of questions were u asked on the interview?

Hi everyone, I spoke to MG today and I was so excited because she said that my folder was being reviewed and that they received my NLN results. Only thing is that I didn't get a copy of my NLN results ???? the way I figure it is whether I know or not there is nothing I can do but stay positive. Im just happy they got to my Application. the waiting game continues...............

hello, How are classes going... Im new to all nurses. I applied for lichson fall 2010 really nervous because my pre-reqs are mostly A and one B but Iam not sure which grade they look at for the tease... I did not study as much as I needed to and I got a 90% for the National rank, 87% for program rank and 77% for the AD. Im a little dissapointed in the AD, I just hope I still have a chance. please respond.....

I was thinking the same thing about medgar. 100% passing but thats for about 27 people and 14 the year before that and I know they admitted way more than that amount of people at the start of the program. makes me wonder. http://www.op.nysed.gov/prof/nurse/nurseprogs-nclexrn2008-12.htm

thanks for replying... thats what I was thinking... you know I took the NLN and there was alot of physics. you would think if physics was needed for entry into nursing school it would be a pre- req. Iam going crazy waiting.... but Iam just trying to stay postive:D. Its hard because I really want this so bad it hurts. There are not many schools in NY and I dont want to have to commute to NJ but I just might have to. I expected to start at BMCC fall 2009 because I had a good GPA but I missed the GPA cut off by a point or two so I went to medgar Evers to take some more pre-reqs. it already the 31st so hopefully we will hear something soon.
