Phillips Beth Israel Applicants

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone has applied to the Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing in NYC for the coming year? I am looking to get into their part-time evening program that would begin in Spring 2011. I'm taking the NLN this Wed and really nervous about it, really just the verbal part....

Does anyone know the traditional schedule in terms of nursing classes at least for this coming term? i need to figure out my work schedule, and all my pre-req's are done, so even though its traditional, i'd still only be taking NURS 100 & 101 in the fall, NURS 102 & Nutrition in the spring & NURS 103 in the summer.

So if anyone knows the schedule, or knows the old one from last year, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

you can look at the old schedules online - go to my campus portal and then click on register online at the bottom of the page. then on the next page there is a link on the left hand side that will take you to what the previous semesters' courses are....for traditional i think all those classes would be m-f all day more or less. but they may change it up this upcoming fall....did you ask ?

yea for some reason i can never log in, maybe because im doing it wrong, it says 1st letter of 1st name and 1st 8 letters of last name, and mines only 7 letters long so maybe i'd have a different login? dunno.

U don't need to login to see the classes....we prob don't even have an official login yet

HI everyone -- It finally happened! I was admitted last week. Now I'm seesawing between happiness and panic. I'm doing the three year plan. All pre-reqs the first year, then the two-year nursing course after that. I'd like to take one or two classes this summer if I can get into any. I saw some start in July at Finger Lakes and probably other SUNYs. Anyone else going to try to do Psych or ethics in July?

did you all get the email of the calendar? just received it today! orientation is aug 24-25 and classes start wk of aug 30 (for those in ATOP sept 2)
