Can anyone tell me what PNA exactly does for the Filipino RN community? That's aside from what they post as member benefits at their website. Please enlighten me. Thank you!

i became a member of the pna last july 2009 up to dec of last year. its funny you have to pay 400 php to be a member just for 5 months. i never recieved emails or news letters from them (pna) informing me of any useful or relevant issues for me. up to now im unemployed but im positive that i will land a job eventually w/o the help of the pna (the "organization" for filipino nurses). if ever you guys from the pna would create a partylist, i would not vote for you because all you did was make money and rob the filipino nurses specially us unemployed nurses.

PRECISELY! AND IF EVER THE "NARS PARTYLIST" would win this coming election...they should definitely do something about the unemployment of nurses here..PLEASE GUYS LETS HELP EACH OTHER.

I'm not a big banner-waver for any party-list.
I suggest forming a voting block. You should be removed from the political circle itself and be able to influence politicians from ALL party-lists.
Forming your own party-list puts you at odds instantly with other politicians.
Forming a Voting Bloc is more powerful because your numbers represent a massive voting mindset that the politicians have to court in order to gain your vote as a unit.

October? It has always been December of the same year as the month of expiration. So if I will be renewing mine next month, I have just 6 months left. Oh just great!

How do I become a member of PNA? I didn't become a member when I registered after passing the boards, but the hospital that I will be working at is requiring me to submit a recent PNA membership card. Where exactly is their office?

you actually do not need to go to PNA office, there are a lot of hospitals where you can get a PNA membership card. u can just ask at the nursing offices. But PNA office is at Pedro Gil, Manila, you should just google. From LRT 1 Pedro Gil Station, you can walk or take a pedicab. PNA card is worth 400pesos. Very big amount for nothing.

PNA office is located at Benitez St Malate, Manila. If you will be taking the LRT you should alight at Pedro Gil Station, ride a jeepney (Sta. Ana/Paco) then tell the driver to drop you off at Benitez Street, the landmark is the Iglesia Ni Cristo church, PNA is just right beside it. Or just walk it's just 3 or 4 blocks away. :)

Hi there! Just go to PNA, you'll be given an application form, fill it up and pay 400.php to the cashier. You'll be given a pink card/id for membership.
Thank you! Will I be able to get the membership id the same day? :)
