Yes, it it for students with GPA 3.0 and up. I guess it it 3.0 and not 3.5. Anyways, I didn't send my application in when i got the offer because I didn't have the money. I thought that they will send the second semester another application. But though i had 4.0 again, I didn't get any. I would like to stop by to their office (chapter at my school) and ask them if I still apply.
I have seen some students write on their application for employment being a member of this organization and they get better jobs and easier.
I don't think is only for Nursing, because last year I wasn't in the Nursing Program. But someone else may know better and correct me of the GPA too if I am wrong.
Congratulations on the scholarship Bob007cat. Did you have to apply for it?
This is the website for those of you who might be interested.
Originally posted by CynthiannAs for as GPA, as far as I can remember, you have to have at least a 3.5 to get an invitation to join and maintain at least 3.0 to keep your membership.
I think the school determines the gpa that needs to be maintained. My school requires us to maintain a 3.5.

Is anyone a member of Phi Theta Kappa? I joined last semester and I received an offer for two $5000 scholarships from colleges in my state. I was wondering about some of the other benefits Phi Theta Kappa may offer.
