Hey guys just wondering who is applying for January. Deadlines are in a few weeks and no one had started a thread yet. I am applying for RN and LPN hoping to get in this time around.
Hey hey future nurses! Congrats to everyone! I live in LOL and was accepted into the RN program...I am excited and nervous and trying to figure out a schedule for my little 18 month old babyboy .....On another note has anyone had the flu shot already and have you had any severe reactions or issues with it? Our packet says we have to get one in Florida you can have a religious exemption im wondering if they will take it? Also is anyone going to the Porter Campus Info Session being held in Wesley Chapel Florida Hospital....I hope this Porter campus has a daycare
Hello, is that a separate session from the nov 22nd one? I was unaware of this other one, would you happen to know dates and time? I also live in LOL and looking for a preschool for my 3 year old. I don't think porter has a daycare and west campus has a wait list that you don't get notice until December!
Hey prospect28 here's the link to the info session Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch Information Session | Pasco-Hernando Community College ) its just a meeting to answer questions about the new porter campus in general....I am going bc I want to know if they will have a daycare....
Thanks for your response Nushca I went to Walgreens yesterday and did the PPD for $28 I have to go back tomorrow so they can document the results....I am still hesitant on the flu vacc. bc im allergic to eggs but I guess if I have to get the darn thing I will :-/
Heydanixo, I do not know if you can get titers at Walgreens, but they do PPD test, I got it done there. For my physical & titers I went to Careone on the county road, got everything done for $120, you can just walk in without appointment. It takes 2-3 days to get the titer result, so you better get started as soon as you can! Good luck!

Did we have to get fingerprints done? I saw a spot or that on the physical form, but there were no additional directions in the packet of stuff we got.
