Hey guys just wondering who is applying for January. Deadlines are in a few weeks and no one had started a thread yet. I am applying for RN and LPN hoping to get in this time around.
Everybody getting nervous, right? It's almost time, hopefully we'll get our acceptance letters by the end of this week.
Last year the first letters were received on Oct. 10th, and tomorrow is the 14th!
I think we should call tomorrow, try to find out if they were sent out & leave an update here.
Ok, I called this morning and was informed that the committee is meeting today or tomorrow and that the letters will be out by this weekend. I do not know to what extend you can trust the info they give you....
omg are you serious lol. I'm trying not to get caught up in the dates and what people say but it is so hard!! I know when I applied for this past fall my letter came 2 weeks after it was dated so that's why I'm trying to not get caught up in it. Also because there were a few people that were denied but then got called back, so just remember there is always a chance once seats become available (: I hope they already met but like you said you never know who you can trust.

I do not know about LPN, but for RN you have to take the Fundamental of Nursing for January, for this course you'll have 3 days, if you take it at the west campus you'll have the lecture on Tuesdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, and 2 clinical days from 7:00 am to 3:0 pm on Thursdays & Fridays. I think the schedule would be pretty much the same on other campuses, maybe different days, I'm not sure. This is only the nursing course and you have to take other co-reqs. if not taken before. You also can take the co-reqs. on Summer, but the main nursing courses are not offered in Summer.
Hope this info helps.
The letters are going out in a week, getting nervous, cannot wait!!
