Well I don't know if I am in any shape to give advice...but....My test didn't stop, that is I got all 265 twice and failed twice. I fact that you ran out of time doesn't always mean f ailure. I believe if you run out of time the computer grades you on the last 60. Good luck

I got 265 twice, and failed both times. It stinks to be that close and not pass. I do have several friends that got 265 and passed.

First time I was out @ 81questions and second time I made it with 75questions...Number of questions are not important to decide pass or fail...

The day I took my NCLEX there were four of us from my class there. Two of us stopped at 75 questions and passed. The other two had 265 questions - one passed and one didn't.

One of my foreign students time out after 154 questions and she passed.

Number of questions does not matter, but how you are answering what you got does.

I took the NCLEN-LVN... not the RN. The PN stops at at 205 and that's what I stopped at. So I don't know if stopping at the max questions is good or not. I went to the max time before and I failed.

I took the nclex pn a few weeks ago. Passed with 85 questions.

Two friends of mine took it, got 205 questions each. One passed, one failed.

Good luck.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Anyone else out there? I'm sooo stressing out.

I took the test November 2005. The test shut off at around 120 questions. Passed it the first time. Like previous posters have said, it all comes down to how many questions you have answered right verses how many were incorrect.

Good luck on the retake! Keep us posted.
