I thought I should start a separate thread for those of us applying for the August 2015 start date. I mailed my application on Tuesday hopefully it reached the office today. Does anyone know if they still send out letters notifying you with how many points you received? If so when are they generally mailed out?

Wondering if you guys could tell me when they are saying you have to have your BLS done? I would like to take the class at hearttraining.com but I have a Friday class this fall. I know the BLS has to be good through the end of the nursing program, so I don't want to get it done too early. But I am wondering if I could wait and do it in Jan before I would start the program?

Hey Lilacs for Mom, it looks like our deadline is June 20th to have everything loaded on our certified profile. But our check-in dates are May 20th and 21st so We may have to show proof then. By the way just wanted to give you a heads up for the cost of the certified profile it is $106 and that covers your background check, drug test, and verification of your immunizations as soon as I have a supply list I will post it here for you and other people who may be interested.

The way I read it was that everything should be rolling by the check in days an everything completed on Certified Profile by June 5th.

That is my understanding as well. That the profile receipt was needed on CNE check-in day. I am a little confused to know if the background check, drug screen and such have to be done by Wednesday though. I tried to call, and once again i didn't receive a call back. Anyone know what the Clinical orientation manual exam is, and where to find it?

I can't find the manual exam either, or the handbook? Am I missing something?

I actually got through to PV Nursing, and to answer my own question...we DO NOT need to have the background check and 10 panel drug screen completed on CNE check-in day. She stated its more to get us going in the right direction with everything.
