I just finished my CNE-Check-in and yes everything has to be uploaded on your certified profile by June 5th. The appt is basically to see where you're at, what you have so far, and to explain how to upload your documents on your certified profile. I asked if there was a date set for orientation yet she said they don't have one set as of yet but it should be around late June early July but it could be as early as mid June. During orientation we'll get our supply list, scrubs, etc.

Good to know!! I have check in tomorrow and was curious how the process would play out. I just need to renew my BLS since it expired in March and I'm set! For anybody else needing renewal (possibly new BLS) there's a place in Liberty that takes walk-ins Mon-Fri 9-5!

Yep the company is called Corporate Safety Solutions I got my BLS there. $50 cash or$51.16 if you pay with your debit card. The check in doesn't take long at all I was there less than 30 minutes.

The BLS class was about 3 hours I was talking about the CNE I'm so sorry for the confusion. For the BLS class you watch a video and take a test.

CNE?? I wondered because previously they said BLS was $65 also lol

I was talking about the CNE-checkin at Penn Valley that only takes about 15 minutes depending on the questions you have. The place in Liberty said the BLS was $65??

Oh duh! You clearly stated the "check in takes about 15 min"! Idk when you did your BLS, but $65 is the info I got. If it's cheaper, even better! I paid $45 last time. You said they just had you watch a movie and take a test though? Nobody practiced on dummies?! No skill check offs?

Yes we practiced on the dummies and did some what of a skills check off we had to demonstrate the proper technique in front of the instructor. Maybe they went up on the price but last week I paid $51.16. The test was 27 questions we did spend a lot of time practicing which was a good thing.

How is everyone doing so far? I have everything turned in just waiting for certified profile to accept my TB skin test results. I just hope it doesn't take them long to set up orientation I would like to plan out the cost of supplies and books as soon as possible.

@Glamcakes Hey! I meant to tell you when I went and did my BLS, I did a walk-in session and it was $65. Idk if because I was a walk-in it was more? Either way I was there for just over an hour and just had to take a review and test online and then they did my skill check off! Also when I went for my CNE Check In, I was the very last person to be seen... Got there 15 min before my scheduled time and was there 2 1/2 hours! They didn't go in order by who was there and signed in first or anything, just randomly called names it seemed like so quite a few people walked in after me and some others but were seen before us. Lol

Hey I'm sorry to hear your check-in took so long that's insane lol. You're right about the BLS class I went to the website it says walk-in $65 and appointments are $50. I scheduled an appointment for mine. I also wanted to mention I joined the facebook group of the class that is a semester ahead of us and I hate to say it but it sounds like we need to be prepared for Fundamentals to be unorganized and overwhelming.

A couple of people announced on Facebook that they were dropping out of the program because of the sheer amount of work. I just want to prepare everyone mentally so when it happens we can expect it and roll with the punches lol. They also posted a couple study guides for Fundamentals and Pharmacology finals if anyone would like one please pm me or if you would like to join the group I can send you a link to the page.
