Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam? 

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Yes, the trick definitely works! Tried it on Aug 12 and quick results says PASS!

I dont think so, this qustion has been asked before, i know this because i also felt the same way you did when i took the test so i researched to make sure that the trick really worked. I spent the whole night trying to find that "someone" who maybe the trick didnt work on....but i didnt find him/her. you passed! and congrats!!!!

Haven't been able to sleep or eat since the 13th when results are usually released. I'm starting to lose hope, even though I still get the pop up...

ahh I am in the exact same boat as you brem86. I took the NCLEX yesterday.. the computer shut off at 75, and now i sit and wait. I too got the pop up when I tried to re-register. I am told this is a good sign, but I don't know. I have this sinking feeling that I am one of the ones that the "pearson vue trick" doesnt work on... I guess I'll let you know either way tomorrow.. happy waiting in the meantine.. :/

i had 3 SATA's with 75 questions and pass so no need to worry. did the trick worked for you? if so congratulations!!

Yes, the trick worked for me. I took exam on August 12th, got 75 questions. Even though the tricked worked for me, I am still unsure. I keep telling myself, what if I am the one it doesnt work with... I am so nervous and scared.

Hi, Meech. Don't worry. I am sure you passed. I am also in CA. I took the test on Aug1, and got my name on CA BRN on Aug 12. Those crasy 11 days!

Keep try BRN every morning, your name will be there!

This kinda worried me now. Some tester have done this i think..the trick to reregister again to pearsonvue.

First of all, I think this trick is a myth. The only true way of finding out is either paying the $9.00 for fast results (that is...if your state supports this website) on Pearson Vue. If not, you have to wait 3-5 business days and check on your board of nursing website or call the automated number, enter you social security number and see if your license number appears. If it doesn't, you most likely failed. This also depends on what state you're from. VA doesn't support fast results and their license numbers typically appear day 2/3 after examination

So I took the NCLEX-PN on Aug. 7th. I'm in California, I was just going to wait out the month it takes to find out results (we're not offered quick results). Today i got a brochure in the mail for a class to help me pass the NCLEX! Panic! How did they get my full name ( which I rarely use ), and my new address? All things that the nursing board has, of course. I did the trick on Pearson-Vue, and got a pop-up! Then someone here said it might not work if you're in California! I will let you guys know if I failed, if the trick actually doesn't work sometimes for Californians. Good luck to everyone!

The Pearsonvue trick really works!!! I live in CA so was unable to take advantage of the quick results. I took 265 ?s so I surely thought I failed. So I did the trick a couple hours after the exam & it would not let me register. It gave me some reassurance to get me through the weekend until Tuesday. When I check my name on the BRN website & saw my name, I was soooooooooo incredibly happy & relieved. Good luck to all of you!!
