Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.
Updated:
Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.
STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.
STEP 11 Click The Button.
STEP 12 Select Your Country.
STEP 13 Click The Button.
STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.
STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.
STEP 15 Select Your State.
STEP 16 Type In Your City.
STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.
STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.
STEP 21 Click The Button.
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
So...like most of you, I finished at the minimum and walked out feeling like I knew nothing, but confident since I stopped at the minimum. Then I looked up questions I wasn't sure of and found out I got them wrong. I looked at this site and realized people failed at the minimum too...aaahhhh!!! :uhoh21:
So, my question is about the trick...someone wrote that if it says under status that delivery was successful or completed or something like that, then that is when you should try the trick. So, mine has been almost 24 hours since I took the test and mine says that and I tried it and the pop up screen came up. Is that the deciding factor of when to try it (the delivery status)?
Thanks in advance!!
countrycali, looks like you'll be signing RN after your name! Congrats!!! Like you, I also looked up some of the q's that I remembered & they were wrong. There's so many of the SATA & prioritization questions that aren't black & white so you can't really look them up. No to mention, trying to remember all the freaky meds... LOL Again, welcome to nursing!!!
I was online all night after I took my test, I couldn't sleep and was totally discouraged (thought I failed, of course). Then I stumbled upon this trail. I did the "trick" and got the pop up. Two days later I found I passed! So it worked for me.
I'm in CT and the board of examiners is extremely quick. The letter was sent the day after I took the test. I would advise NOT to pay the $8 BEFORE you check the board of examiners' website. Of course in the midst of my anxiety I didn't even think of the option. The $8 Pearson charges for early results is an outrageous way of making money, the "unofficial results" should be accessed for free, the test is costly enough. Good luck to everybody. I know this test is nerve wracking...
Sorry but I disagress with DECAGIRLS. All that I did to prepare for NCLEX RN is do 100 computer questions/day. I read the rationals if I missed or was unsure... Also, I only scored in the low 70%s. I had 105 questions on NCLEX & got the pop up when I got home - found out 48 hours later that I PASSED!!!! Hope this gives some of you hope! IF YOU GET THE POP Up = U PASSED!!![/quote']this is more realisitic, as you have adviced.. i think over studying is not going to help.. its just that if u get it or not, its that simple, well i had previously said that i got all the way to the CC screen and was a nervous wreck, and today i found out that i FAILED. i knew it was coming, i have to start studying again, i need to do more infection control, is there any good resource out there for infection control type of questions?

IF YOU GET THE POP Up = U PASSED!!![/quote']That's good for you. As I said in my post, everyone is different. I was just trying to give some advice to a person who failed. I passed with only 75 questions so I thought maybe I did something right. For someone who failed, I wouldn't be giving advice to only do 100 questions/day and expect to pass. Again, this is only my opinion, and my sincere hope that the person passes the next time around.

thank you for giving me that hope, i really wish to pass, please keep me in your prayers, i just dont understand, the sata questions are really hard, and i really didnt even practice as much of infection control questions, and there were SO MANY on the exam and as well as the priority questions.. how did u get those questions right? because its hard to do those questions.
I too got a TON of infection control questions, priority and SATA. I couldn't believe it. I thought they would never stop coming. Not sure what resources you are using to study, but I found Saunders disk to be very helpful in those areas. I also concentrated on those areas in the accompanying Saunders book. I also did a ton of questions from NCLEX 3500. Not sure if you said you have Kaplan but my friend who passed with me said it was very helpful to her (but I don't have that disk). Best of luck to you! I know you'll pass next time around!

thank you for ur re assurance, i really NEED to pass.. how was nclex 3500 , i know its free, is it worth the time? i havent done any questions from it? i have saunders, but i didnt find it helpful, i mean i still failed?! .. so im beginning to think about purchasing kaplan qbank, since everyone loves it so much.. but i dont know if i should, since it is very expensive.. i really dont know what source is the best fo infection control type questions cuz my saunders doesnt have many..
HI everyone!! New to this board but have read a few threads
I took the NCLEX yesterday & tried the trick, it would NOT let me go to the CC page, hope this is good. I will find out tomorrow!
For studying I did Kaplan!! I would highly recommend it!!!
They have a 93% pass rate and guarantee your pass rate, or your money back!
I did around 900 QBank questions, these are higher level questions that are almost equal to the questions on the NCLEX.
I took the available question trainers 1-6, there are seven of them and they start out at 75Q and go up to 265Q.
I also had the NCLEX 4000 but I noticed that some of these questions were in violation of the rules that Kaplan teaches you to go by so I decided not to use it. I also had the Saunders book and used it throughout school but did not use it for the NCLEX so it was all KAPLAN!
I only had 75 questions, tons of SATA, pharm, precautions, and priority. My last questions was a SATA I hope that is a good sign! I will keep everyone posted!
We will see...right now im just praying and waiting:bowingpur

Ha ha...I know you are right. It's just so hard for me to 100% believe it, because my name is not on the BRN. It makes me feel better to keep reading everyone's success stories :)
