Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

it worked for my friend in ny... she went all the way to the cc page... and found out today she failed...

im just wondering if it works on all states and territories... im under saipan bon and i get the pop up each time i try to re register... im really worried right now.. i hope the trick works for my bon...

congrats on your passing! i didnt pass.. i just found my results today, yes this trick works, its scary it really works! i got all the way to the cc page, and sure enough, i failed!.. how did u study? please advice, i want to know what u consider a good source to study with? especially for infection control and priority questions. ?

I hate to say this but I think allot of it is luck and has nothing to do with studying. Most of the questions I got were very subjective and can be argued many ways. Nothing I studied for was on the test. It all seemmed very random minor side effects to drugs and diseases.

I got the pop up screen and it wont let me pay so I hope that is good.

That's good for you. As I said in my post, everyone is different. I was just trying to give some advice to a person who failed. I passed with only 75 questions so I thought maybe I did something right. For someone who failed, I wouldn't be giving advice to only do 100 questions/day and expect to pass. Again, this is only my opinion, and my sincere hope that the person passes the next time around.

I did 3,000 question and maybee... maybee that gave me the answers to 2 questions.

Kaplan recommends that you not take over 150 questions in one day...I think you just can't retain information after a certain point!

Just remember that a fresh mind is way better than trying to cram a few more facts into your brain before the NCLEX. Best advice I got before I took mine!

The thing is after a week you brain is going to dump all that info anyways.

sounds like you passed, nursinguy - congrats! in addition, dekagirl, i didn't mean to demean what you posted about studying more than 100 q/day. i graduated from a school that has a 98% pass rate & that's what they recommended that we do. of course, if you need to review the areas where you missed... what i did, for all of you who didn't pass & want advice, keep a pencil & paper beside you when you're taking your practice test & jot down terminology, drugs, conditions... anything you don't know right off the bat so you can review it later. even if you just google it, it'll help you remember. good luck!!!

In a certain aspect I agree with you, but when answering questions its not just the answer you should be seeking, its the core content, and that is something that most likely helped you on more than two questions on the exam.

Sounds like you passed....I find out tomorrow.....hopefully this trick works : )

Aye, never come to commiefornia.... here we wait 4-5 weeks.

i really hope this trick works. i took the test at 8am this morning. tried the trick two hours ago and i got the pop-up. i am PRAYING that i passed!! i unluckily was tortured all the way through 265 questions. it was AWFUL!! i must say to all of you who haven't taken it yet...prepare to the best that you can. do NOT freak out if you surpass 75 questions. and just know that you are going to be asked things that you can't prepare for. and GOOD LUCK!

I took the NCLEX RN today. Just like many of the others I shut off at 75, loads of SATA and infection control. I did the trick and got the pop up. Keeping my fingers crossed. I am in Cali, how long is the board running right now to get the results posted on the BON? I saw that someone from Cali posted today, but didn't say when they tested. THX!

Hi TwilightRN2B!

I'm in CA as well, and it has been taking 3 days for all of my friends to get their results on the BRN website. This has also been true for those taking the NCLEX on a Friday and Saturday. It always seems to be 3 days. It always seems to be early in the morning as well. Hopefully my name will be up tomorrow a.m.! I am so nervous I can't sleep. I'm having faith in this "trick". :)

Good luck!

Oh! just 3 days??? I have heard about it being 4 weeks, so that is a relief. My friend took hers on Saturday and hasn't found her name on the BRN website and the trick worked for her. The waiting is killing me!
