Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Well....

I have to jump on the band-wagon here. I finished the NCLEX-RN at 0845 this morning after testing for one hour and fifteen minutes, completing a grand total of 75 questions. I have never been so exhausted in my life as I am at this very moment. After finishing the test, I came home to notice that my exam had not yet been "delivered". So, I waited until it stated that "delivery" had been "successful". I tried to register to sit for the NCLEX-RN for the second time and recieved the infamous "pass" message and could not proceed any further. I have now checked a couple of times, and the message remains the same.

If for nothing more than scientific purposes, I will continue to follow this matter closely and alert this thread to my passing or failure.

I passed. The "trick" still holds water.

O...AND I FREAKIN PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!:yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::tbsk:

I would think so considering that the NCLEX-RN/PN are nationally administered tests. It also sounds most like a system loop-hole in the PV registration to keep passers from registering again. Most likely to keep from having to refund money.

Thats exactly why this trick works. It would be a nightmare for the company to have to refund the money for so many people given that so many of us walk out the exam feeling like we failed when in reality the opposite is true. Because of this many of us, being the pessimists that we are , would re-register again to get the ball rolling again...lol. So Pearson has to do something in order to stop that from happening and having to deal out refunds. For any business...the potential of giving that many refunds would be a costly undertaking. This all makes sense....this is a computer exam. From the minute the screen goes blank...the results are KNOWN...just not known to you:nono: Therefore because the computer already KNOWS your results BUT has to wait 48hrs to release them to you, it cannot let you re-register again as IT already knows you passed! :yeah: On the flip side...if you failed...then it will let you re-register because you will have to anyway and the system has no way of knowing how long your BON takes to inform you of the fact that you failed.

I passed! Just got my results today. This trick worked for me!

I'm not sure why the PV trick works, but I don't think it has anything to do with refunding money since PV clearly states they don't offer refunds (legitimate practice). I imagine it is more likely a result of something in the system to either determine eligibility to sit for the NCLEX or to prevent people from registering multiple times. Financially it would be in their best interests to allow everyone to register (and thus pay!) for the exam even though they aren't eligible to sit for it or already passed since that would be free money! It would be very bad for them though if they approved someone who wasn't actually eligible or allowed someone to register multiple times and avoid the 45 day wait.

Though I doubt anyone actually cares how or why it works, just that it does :)

i called the california pn board and they said they are currently working on the people who tested on may 20.. why doesnt california participate in quick results?

Oh, I wish they did... :urgycld: I have been waiting to find out if I passed the NCLEX-RN for a week already :sstrs:

I'm in CA and they do not particiapte in quick results! So, my questions is....I do not get a pop-up when I try and re-register or schedule...but it says delivery sucessful and a message in red appears and states "your state does not participate in quick results." I'm worried because I do not get the pop-up, but I cannot reregister either, which is good sign....SO concerned. Should I worry? Anyone with the same problem?

FORGET the last posting....I followed the directions EXACTLY as described in the post from page 144 and I got the pop-up!!! YEAH if the trick works..I passed!!!!

If anyone is not sure how to do the trick...go to page 144 and follow the detailed directions.......

I am glad :) congrats :)

I live in Virginia and took my NCLEX RN today in about 35 minutes. (really fast test taker) It cut off after 75 questions. The test was extremely difficult, and I don't feel as though I passed. (who ever does?!) I received the following message when trying to register on the pearson site again to try the trick (after it told me my test had been delivered):

"The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time."

I panicked and cried because I didn't get the following pass message (Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at thist time.)

I just read a couple of posts by mistyda indicating that she received the on hold message that I received, and that she was informed that because she finished her test in under an hour, it was flagged for review. She passed. I don't think they would flag it for review if someone failed.

Sorry for the long post. I just wanted to give information about this "on hold" message that I got in hopes that it will keep people from going into a panic like I did. I will add a followup post when I learn what my results are. Cross your fingers.

Gosh somebody, anybody, can you tell me how to find out if I passed? I looked on the CABRN website for a place that I might be able to put my name and other identifying info in to see what comes up. I can't find where that is. Though I just took this exam today, it shut off at 75. I feel horrible. This test was nothing like what I had prepared for. Nothing like the 3000 questions or so that I answered. I know that ultimately I will find out, yet my kids, like me, are on pins and needles. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
