Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.
Updated:
Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?
STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.
STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.
STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.
STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.
STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.
STEP 6 Enter Your Username.
STEP 7 Enter Your Password.
STEP 8 Click The Button.
STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.
STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.
STEP 11 Click The Button.
STEP 12 Select Your Country.
STEP 13 Click The Button.
STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.
STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.
STEP 15 Select Your State.
STEP 16 Type In Your City.
STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.
STEP 18 Select Your School.
STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.
STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.
STEP 21 Click The Button.
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
I really hope you are all right about this!! I took the NCLEX RN yesterday and truly think I could have failed. I knew it was a difficult test, but was not prepared to be guessing half of the time --no calculations, no hot spots, no real need to understand physiology even. It was all about infection control and meds and I did not know the answers. I had like 20 "select all that apply" and I tend to bomb those. I have always been an A student, went to a school with a very high pass rate, did Kaplan online, had high prediction scores and I am telling you....I really, truly think I failed. I had a moment of excitement when it shut off at 75 and then I realized--omg I failed.
I did the trick and it looks like I passed?? I would love to hear from anyone who has tried this and GOTTEN THE CC PAGE and then had it verified they failed. I will keep you posted.
Thank you all you wonderful nurses for of your support!!

I just want to let you know that this trick does work. My two friends and I all look the NCLEX-RN on Monday June 15th. We all came out after 75 questions looking as if someone had beat us up. We were confident that we failed the exam as we all thought we only got about 5 -7 questions right. To say it was the worst test in my life is an understatement. I don't even have the words to describe what that test was like. I am a google queen :typing so I googled nclex tricks...blah blah blah you get the hint and lo and behold I find this thread about the "pearson vue trick". I went home and tried it and so did my girlfriends. You can only imagine how happy :yeah:
I was to see that pop up box come up . This thread was the only thing that kept me sane for the 48hrs I had to wait. Thank you for all of your post as it was truly a breath of fresh air in a moment of agony. I wish everyone the best and hope that everyone who does the trick gets the lil pop up box. If it does...relax and celebrate. You are an RN !!!
All the best,
Nancy Gonzalez RN (man how awesome are those two last letters !!!)
the same totally happened to me. I took it on the 17th of june..I went and logged into my account and tried to register to take the exam again and it wouldnt let me. I just got that same thing that said checkwith your board. hope it works too.

i took my rn examination on june 5th, 2009, for the second time.
i had all 265 questions.
i did the pearsonvue trick and was not able to go to the payment page :nuke:. a day in a half later i found out that i have passed
a friend of mine just took her test for the second time, she did the pearsonvue trick for the second time and was able to get to the payment page, she found out that she had failed again for the second time .
this trick has worked perfectly so far for all 48 students that have taken the test.
good luck to everyone and if you fail the first time don't give up. i spent 3 to 4 days a week at the library and stayed 3-4 hours a day and i had a friend offer to tutor me one day a week to help with content. i studied 3-4 hours a day taking weekends off!!!
i had to change my whole way of thinking and studying, i even had to get online to find out relaxation techniques to help with my test anxiety. i told myself before going into the building for my second round of test that after 25 questions i was going to take a break, use the bathroom and drink some water. i made sure that i read the questions carefully looked at the question and made sure i understood what it was asking me then i reread the question and then went to the answers. i wrote down #1. 1 2 3 4 i did this so when i was able to eliminate a answer i would cross it out that way i knew that i had already looked at that and i would not go back to rethink it. i did not change any of my answers. i did this for all 265 questions. it took me almost the whole 6 hours to take the test. i took 4-5 breaks which helps.
the first time my computer shut off in 75 question which i finished in one hour and 15 min with no breaks. the second time my computer shut off in 265 questions which i finished in 5 hours and 30 min.
take your time remember your a nurse you have to think like a nurse do not bring past experiences into the test with you.
go over your therapeutic questions never ask (who what where when why questions, always ask open ended questions, never yes or no questions) this helped me a lot as well.
if you do fail take a week off and relax:onbch:
hope this helps.
