  3. Click 'register' on the right side.
  4. Click the 'credit card' link.
  5. Click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
  6. Enter your username.
  7. Enter your password.
  8. Click the button.
  9. Click 'register' on the left side.
  10. Select your test type.
  11. Click the button.
  12. Select your country.
  13. Click the button.
  14. Answer the yes/no questions.
  15. Select your country again.
  16. Select your state.
  17. Type in your city.
  18. Click the button. a list of schools should appear.
  19. Select your school.
  20. Select the month and year of your graduation.
  21. Select your board of nursing.
  22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

Wow, the PVT is pretty awesome. I'm surprised Pearson hasn't caught on to it yet. :)

Connie1109, Thanks for the positive feedback! My name finally came up on the BRN site yesterday! Such a relief :)

I'm sure they have. Information about the PVT has been around for many years. But I doubt they care. First, it prevents people from re-registering needlessly. Second, people still buy quick results because no one believes the trick until they see they have really passed.

Hi, I am taking test rn this Tuesday, but I'm a foreign student, but still the test I am taking in New York, does anybody know if the PVT will work for me same as for the graduated in US, or I have to call the BON to check for unofficial results.

good luck to all of you waiting to take the test.

Good luck

So I took NCLEX today, came out crying thinking I totally failed it. I was getting questions that I have never seen in my life. Test shut right after 75 questions.

I did Pearson trick few times and Im getting this

So that means that I passed ?

I'm still freaking out.

did you have a lot of select all that apply?

if you did then you did fine i just took the nclex in march and felt the same way . i used VATI, they told me if i had a lot of select all that apply and the compter shut off at 75 questions then you did fine.

yes I had a lot of SATA and a lot of priority questions. But Im still wondering about the accuracy of pearson trick

not sure i tried it and got the same results so it may work but the better bet is that you had a lot of SATA questions

Pearson Vue Trick is accurate; you've passed. I did the PVT a few hours after I tested, got the same pop up. Held out on paying for quick results because I'm stingy and PV has made enough from the testing fee. Lol...few business days later my license number was posted on my states BON.

CONGRATS!! :)

I took it today as well. I got the good pop up as I wales out of the testing center.
