Here are the exact steps to see if you passed the NCLEX exam on the Pearson Vue web site.
Updated:
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.
This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

Thank you all for your congrats & response! I am still so nervous checking the BON website for my name & the PVT to make sure the pop up is there like every hr!!! However knowing this is the good pop up is defiantely reassuring I just want my quick results already then I can really rejoice!!!!!
@NYNurse, do you know if it said your results were delivered when you checked earlier today?
@86711lh, I know what you mean. I'm relieved to keep getting the good pop-up (I have been checking since yesterday when I tested). I can pay for my quick results at 8, ready to have the true confirmation.
Hi Everyone. I joined just to give you my experience with the "trick." I took my NCLEX on a Monday morning at 0800, computer shut off at 75 (I had between 25 and 30 SATA's) questions, I did the trick around 0940, and got the "good pop up." My license number was posted on the board of nursing's website the next day. It gave me some hope when I got the pop-up, but I didn't want to be too excited until I knew for sure.
If anyone is wondering about Kaplan, I thought it was a great tool to gain test taking strategies. It isn't heavy on content, but when I reviewed the questions I missed from the trainers and Q Banks, I was able to brush up on my content. The NCLEX itself didn't seem that bad to me. It was pretty straight forward, and although there were a few things I had never heard of, for the most part I was familiar with the question content.
I think I 'll be reassured from reading your thread;,. I got exactly the same pop up ;I took the test yesterday and can't even sleep my anxiety is really choking me;,.. checked PVT twice and same pop up like you had ;,. O God ;,. if this is really true then ;,..I can't believe I made it !!!! Does any official quick results comes on a sunday??Can't wait;,..............CONGRATS to you;,..
I took my NCLEX on Wednesday, I live in CA so I can't get my quick results. I have gotten the "You have recently scheduled this exam, contact your nursing board..." message every time since I have taken the test. I am still really nervous that I didn't pass, it was so much harder than expected. Is everybody sure it works??
