Here are the exact steps to see if you passed the NCLEX exam on the Pearson Vue web site.
Updated:
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.
This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.
Poll to take once you have received your response:

I used the Saunders disc. It has 3500 questions and I only studied for two days. I graduated dec 16. I finally got my att the only available date was Saturday. Or mid march. So I chose Saturday. I hardly studied, just believed my instructors who said there really no good way to study you either know it or you don't. The more you look into it you confuse yourself more and think too much in the question. I did what they said using abc and maslows. The pharm questions about the drugs were crazy I didn't even know a lot of them, I just looked at the answers and if I saw two that were similar I just picked one of those.
Another success story :) I took the NCLEX on a Thursday and ended up with 75q (at least 25 SATA, delegation, prioritization, etc) and got the good pop up an hour after taking the test. It eased my mind for the next 48 hours! All of the younger nurses at work also confirmed it, too. I checked my quick results yesterday (Saturday) and I did indeed pass! I am officially a RN! So happy! Congrats to everyone else as well!

Congratulations! All your hard work has paid off!

I know that the Saunders is a great study tool! I believe most nursing schools prepare students well for NCLEX. If I were in your shoes and had to choose between mid March or that Saturday, I would choose the Saturday date also. I don't want to sit there and study for hours and hours, with so many thoughts going through my head (what is this, what if that): Also I believe that with NCLEX, its really not how you study and how much you know, it's all about how you approach the question! you must think about the question and read each choice carefully and see if it pertains to the question!
With the good pop up, Rest assured! You did it! If you survived nursing school, then anything is achievable!
Congratulations on your achievement! :)
My name still isn't up on the CA BON site. I called Friday and was told my transcripts weren't in but my schools states they were mailed out on 12/12/11. I found out there are two other classmates who tested 2 weeks ago and don't have their names up either. I'm so frustrated! I go in for new-hire paperwork on Thursday and start the Versant RN residency program in February... this is making me nervous!!
Just called my school again, now I'm being told our entire graduating class' transcripts won't even be mailed out until the first or second week of February!! We graduated December 8!! There's at least 20 of us who are all starting at the same hospital on Feb 6 -- and we've been told they won't let us begin orientation until our names are on the CA BRN site... which apparently won't happen until mid Feb... GRRR!!! So frustrated right now!!
Sorry for venting, but thanks for being here!!
Hi all, took my NCLEX today and I can't even tell you how many questions I got b/c I hid the number to keep my anxiety from rising. The last time I checked the number just to be safe & compare it with the time I was at 142.. started answering a few more questions and it shut off. I felt like I got the last answer incorrect : ( I feel like crying right now b/c I think I failed & I can't wait 48hrs to know : ( I got home around 430 checked pearson vue it says "status delivery successful" and I am getting a pop that says "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." Is this the definite 100% good pop up???? I read in other forums that it has to say you passed in the popup otherwise it just means they are still reviewing your results. I just need some reassurance because I feel like I failed! Knowing this is the good pop up will at least calm my anxiety a little it also says "your exam results are not available at this time" on the same page it says the delivery status was anyone else getting that?...I am so confused with this! I am PRAYING that this means I passed! :/
