Here are the exact steps to see if you passed the NCLEX exam on the Pearson Vue web site.
Updated:
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.
This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.
Poll to take once you have received your response:
Pearsonvue trick - Poll once you receive your results - nursing for nurses
The original thread (part 1 and 2) are now closed.
The Pearson Vue trick did NOT work for the RN exam. For days I would go to the site and each time I was prompted to enter my billing information (this is supposedly not a good sign). However, three days after I tested, and feeling quite pessimistic I searched my name on the states nursing board wed site and what-do-you-know... I have a current license and license number to put on the resume!
To all those who find that the trick is not working... Please check your state board wed site under consumer license verification with your first and last name (Ive heard it takes 3-10 days for it to show there).
And a side note, Kaplan review coorifice helped a tremendous amount. I felt that the timed test 6 and 7 were very similar to the NCLEX-RN exam and the best preparatory questions out there. Because of Kaplan I would venture to say that the NCLEX really wasn't that hard. Its true that nursing school was harder than the NCLEX.
Good luck to all!
They just updated it like in August to where now it takes everyone to the cc page. The "new trick" is if you entet your cc info to pay again and submit then the popup happens. Not before like previously. So you run the risk of paying the $200 right then. If you can afford it great, otherwise I wouldn't risk it. :)
Hi, I took my exam on 2 days ago Friday and I tried the trick and unfortunately my payment went through. This is extremely agonizing. I only had 85 questions and I had more than 7 SATA the rest is prioritizing and reinforcement. I would definitely appreciate you feed back.
Regarding the 48 business hours quick results, I have seen some post here that says Pearson Vue does not take days off that they post UNOFFICIAL RESULTS even on weekends. Can somebody please help me? I can't sleep I can't eat. Thank you so much.

Hi, so I just want to clarify - you got the cc page and then later found out that you passed the NCLEX?
Thanks!
