Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

I took the exam yesterday, waited an hour before checking and got the good pop up. I will check back in once I get my final results.

It works I got the good pop up next day found out I officially passed!!!

I did the trick roughly 6 hours after completing the test... Good pop up and passed!

Sent from my iPhone using allnurses

It worked for me about 6 hours after I finished my test this week! :)

48 hour quick results indicate that I passed! I live in TX and I hear they only update licenses on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I'll check back in next week :)

How do you get the 48 hour quick results?

1st your state must participate in it, you can google it to find out. After that just log back in and under where it says "delivery successful" there should be an option to purchase quick results under that. Make sure it has been exactly 48 hours, I tried a lot before then but they are really specific it seems, lol

I have a friend in Texas who "claims" she did the PV trick an hour after testing and it stated the same good pop-up but found out she failed a couple of days after. I'm really doubting it because from what I've read, it (the good pop up) seems accurate though not official.

Specializes in ICU.

PVT still works.... I passed!!!

Specializes in Med/Surg, ER, LDRP.

PVT worked for me! Saw it friday after the exam and received my early results tonight...I'm an RN!

PVT works for me! I tested yesterday, got the good pop up about 15 minutes out and today my name is on the board of nursing!!! :)

I finished with 75 questions and got the good pop up. I'll update when I receive my official results!!!!! :)
