Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.
This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

I wonder does the quick results work on the weekend to? I took my exam friday but I wonder can I check to see if the results will be ready tomorrow?? Anyone ever check it on a sunday?
the quickresults arrived on a sunday..:-) and felt extremely happy coz i was just doing a self review for a month and i graduated years wayback... 2007... its my first nclex try and i passed....
Pearsonvue "TRUTH" does work on a Saturday and your results can become available on a Sunday. Once you get the good pop up, there is NO need to pay for the results, however. This thing is common sense. If you fail, you pay to retake and if you pass, you will get the good pop up. This has worked for every single nurse I know, including myself.
So, my computer decided it needed to reboot in the middle of the test which of course just made the anxiety worse! But...my computer shut off after 87 questions. Feel kind of "eh" about the whole thing. Came home to do the Pearson Vue Trick and got the "the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time." pop up.
Anyone get this pop up and then go back in later and the the "good" pop up or ???
Well after pins and needles yesterday, I did the "trick" today and got the "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." Yeah! Now the wait for the BRN to post my license number and then I can breathe again!
The PVT works!! I took my PN nclex yesterday, got 85 questions and 20 satas. I did the trick in the parking lot of the testing center and I got the good pop up. I was so excited and relieved. Then the next day I check the Heath dept. website and showed that I passed and a few hours later.... There is was my license!! I thank God for keeping me calm during the test! All I did to get ready was a lot of questions and rationales (right or wrong answers). No content, cause it was overwhelming for me, I thought the questions helped me better. I had no math on the test and only like 4 drugs that I have seen before. I had 2 exhibits and 2 arrange in the correct order, also an EKG strip. I was surprised I did not get many disease precaution questions, 4 of my classmates that tested recently got a bunch of those. I did get many priority questions and teaching. Maybe like 2 delegation questions. It really feels good to be done with the test, the anxiety was taking over me, but faith and prayer helps!! That's my best advice! Pray, breath and read carefully the questions, all answers are right in many of them, but you have to pick the best one, which is the challenging part. Best of luck to all of you!!:-)
