Here are the exact steps to see if you passed the NCLEX exam on the Pearson Vue web site.
Updated:
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.
This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

Pearsonvue trick - Poll once you receive your results - nursing for nurses

The trick worked for me. Took the test on Wednesday, shut off after 75 questions. Got the "good pop up" about an hour later when I checked. Today, my name is listed on the BON's website! Didn't even have to pay the extra $ for the quick results (which wouldn't be available until tomorrow anyway!) :-D
For those of you that are worried, I would also say to consider what type of questions you were getting. I have read in numerous places that if you got a lot of SATA and prioritization questions, you are probably golden. That was true in my case.
Good luck to all you future nurses! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
Took my exam this morning and it shut off at 75 questions. I don't feel confident in any of my answers I gave and they were mostly SATA....I did the PVT and got the "good" popup and that has relieved some of my anxiety at least for two business days. I'll follow up whether or not the unofficial results say I passed.

Got the "good pop up" after 75 questions, having taken it today! It was the hardest test of my life, but the state board (while being unable to officially confirm my passing as of today) says I will have my license by the end of the week, in time for my job! I won't start celebrating completely till I see that BON license though!
