  1. Go to NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.
  2. Select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
  3. Click 'register' on the right side.
  4. Click the 'credit card' link.
  5. Click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
  6. Enter your username.
  7. Enter your password.
  8. Click the button.
  9. Click 'register' on the left side.
  10. Select your test type.
  11. Click the button.
  12. Select your country.
  13. Click the button.
  14. Answer the yes/no questions.
  15. Select your country again.
  16. Select your state.
  17. Type in your city.
  18. Click the button. a list of schools should appear.
  19. Select your school.
  20. Select the month and year of your graduation.
  21. Select your board of nursing.
  22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

Poll to take once you have received your response:

:lol2::lol2: I can relate to your story, I did my NCLEX yesterday 9/14. I keep doing the PVT every 15 minutes just to see the "Good Pop-Up" to lessen my anxiety. Nursing Dx "Impaired sleep/rest". I still pray to GOD that I will pass the test even though I see that Good Pop-Up, can't wait to see the real result tomorrow or Monday. To you , Congratulations!!!

here's an update: I passed! I guess there are two versions of the "good" message. I checked and I'm still getting the old message.

How long does one have to wait to do the PVT? An hour? Two? More? Thank you in advance for your answers.

As soon as you leave the testing center. Also when it indicates delivery status as successful! I did mines in the parking lot!! Good luck!!

I took NCLEX Sept 17th. I had to sit there til 265th question :nailbiting:!!! I did the trick and had the good pop-up. OMG I hope this trick is true. If not then I may be the 1st to say it did not work for me (may not work for someone who did 265 of the questions). Anyways, I will know in less than 8 hours! Good luck to us all!!!

Great job mjaybx, I am starting Center for allied health October 1 2012 and seeing you passing your exit and boards make me know that the school is a good school and not all bad as I have been reading.
