Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Just took my exam today. Had 265 Questions. Never Ending. Got the good message. Hope it works :)

Okay so I took my nclex today. I had ALL 265 questions! I felt sick and defeated. Came home figured I would check the trick for some glimmer of hope or confirmation of what I knew was to be. Got the good pop up!!! My question is how often does someone take ALL 265 questions and still pass? Please help I am FREAKING OUT!

So did you pass? Had 265 questions today as well and got the good pop-up. Praying to G-d that i passed. have to wait 48 hours :( to know officially

Hello all! I posted recently on here regarding my good pop-up. I'm still waiting for my results since I'm here in California. I keep seeing so many positive outcomes regarding this PVT trick and it keeps me sane on this wait. :) I had a lot of SATA, Math and infection control questions on my PN exam too. I was just shocked when it shut off at 85! So coming home, I immediately checked with Pearson Vue's website if my appointment was delivered successful and proceeded on re-registration. :) That's when I got the good pop-up. I'd been doing it everyday eversince I took the test on August 25th. Good luck to all who are also waiting like me. I will definitely let you guys know once I get my results. Thank you again for all those positive posts!

To those who replied to me with assurance, Thank you so much! Will definitely let you guys know once I get my official results! I can't wait any longer! It would be awesome to be one of those who did the trick and passed! :D Enjoy your Labor day weekend guys!

Oh no! The popup currently says, "The candidate currently has test results on hold. A registration cannot be made at this time." Can somebody please tell me what this means? Has anyone experienced this? My mind is in chaos now. Waaaaaaah!

YOu will have to wait for it to say "delivery successful." And then try re-registering again. Good luck! I'm still waiting for my PN results too!

I am noticing that the CA PN board is getting back to applicants much more quickly. I got my results in 19 days, however 2 of my classmates who recently took their exams, got their official results in CA in 1 week-one got her results in 5 days, and the other 7 days. By the way, we all did the trick, all got the good pop up, and all passed.

It's definatley not as bad as the 6 week wait, that many others form CA were once experiencing.

That's great you got yours so early! :D Hope I'd get mine earlier than expected. Although, I have a feeling it'll be 2 weeks or more since we have the long holiday this weekend and they now close offices on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Friday of each month. Thanks for letting me know about your story! Congratulations!

Still waiting to hear will let you know as soon as I do! Keep praying :)

I was stressing...I kept reading things over and over telling me the PVT works. Finally found a description of it here. Did it yesterday when stress level maxed out... (after the 10th time or so checking the Pearson Vue site hoping my results might be "early"). Got the "good pop up". Checked 6 minutes ago... and I passed! Thank you for the "trick" that saved my sanity!

The PVT TOTALLY worked for me. Checked BON in VA and I am a RN! YAY! THANK GOD FOR THE PVT Otherwise I would have cried ALL night!

Specializes in LTC, HomeCare.
I just took the NCLEX-RN yesterday, did 75 questions in one hour. Got lots of Priority, abt 8-9 Meds, 1 Math, and 6 SATA. I didnt think the Test was a monster but because of anxiety, I was getting stuff confused. However I left the place feeling crappy, my appetite was gone for the whole day. Came back home, did the PVT and got a Good Pop Up :yeah:!! I hope its as accurate, can not wait till tomorrow n see if it actually works!!!!

PVT Works, I am proud to say that I am officially an RN :D!!!! WHOOHOOOO!!! Good Luck to all of those awaiting results!!

Hi all, this is my first time actually posting anything on here but I just had to share that for all the skeptics out there...the PVT works...100% accurate.

I was also skeptical about this backdoor glitch that pearsonvue has given all of us, but I guess all we can do is thank PV for giving us some sort of peace of mind while waiting for the official results. I took the NCLEX in CA in mid August and it took about 15 days for me to receive my results..it took longer than it should have because my file was incomplete. I suggest that immediately after you all take your NCLEX you call your state BON and find out the status of your file so you can complete it and not delay the issuing of your results any longer than it should be....I found out today that I passed by checking the permanent license verification online..after days of OCD checking the PVT to see if one day it would take me to the CC page and tell me that I failed, cuz after walking out of the testing center after completing the NCLEX I was convinced I had failed miserably at 75 questions..anyways, I just wanted to share my experience with everyone..Good Luck and GB all :)

Finally.. CA, RN!

I went to nursing school in MO. I sat for my exam in CA for MO's license. I am glad that when I call the MO board, I got through to them each and every time. When I place a call into the CA's board, my gosh, they either tell me to call back later or put me on hold for hours. Of the many times I call the CA board, I only got through to them once. They were absolutely and tremendously helpful. Now there is a posting on the CA board website that they will be off the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Fridays of every month. Guess we are really in a budget crisis here in CA. Arnold will either "I'll be back" and make it better or be the "terminator" in the crisis situation here. I think I know why the people who took the board exam wont get their letter until 5 or 6 weeks after that. I looked up one of my friends who took the board exam in CA, her name was registered as an RN. She took her exam two weeks ago. I guess this also means CA BRN is not really that slow. My friends who took their exam in MO got their letter within 2 days. I'm waiting for them to send me my letter to my CA address. Not going to pay the $8. :-) Thanks MO.
