Pearson Vue Trick

Published

I'm sure this is one of the many posts about Pearson Vue Trick.....

I took my NCLEX yesterday. I have read several articles that swear by the trick. I have also read some that say they passed even though they didn't get the "good pop up". So here is my question.... has anyone got the "good pop up" but really failed?

Thank you :-) was not a fun test as you all know hahaha. And i didnt know about the credit card thing. I did just read, after I saw your post, that they make you do that now because they are sick of people getting free answers and not paying the whopping $8 lol. Is what is, I dont wanna hear the words NCLEX ever again. hahaha

Ah no, missed again ;) The registration software went through an upgrade in August 2014, which changed how the registration process works. Actually people have forked over $200 needlessly by creating a duplicate registration they don't need. I wonder why people come up with al these colorful explanations, LOL, that seem to be pulled from thin air?

Congratulations on passing, and hopefully you'll pass on GOOD information about both NCLEX and PVT so others aren't misled. There's enough anxiety in this process already!

hello guys, I took mine nclex pn on march 24 in CA & I learned about pvt & tried 3 days after the test & got good pop up & still getting good pop up though it shows "result unavailable"......I am sooo worried because I know I rushed the test through anxiety & got more than couple super easy questions wrong :( Also about more than 75% of my test was SATA (that gave me anxiety)& I guess computer cut off at 85. no math, couple meds with only generic names, 3 drag & drop.....I left center crying because I was sure I failed & was expecting more questions to prove myself & I studied almost 3 months for this..... i was completely heart broken... that good pop up is giving me some relief but when I think about the test & how I did....I get nervous again....please let me know if any body got good pop up but later found out to be failed.....

It will say result unavailable forever as that statement only refers to availability of quick results which CA does not participate. Yes it's happened that the good pop up has been inaccurate but rarely of attempted more than 48 hours post test as in your case. Your LVN license won't be posted until you pay the licensing fee hurry up and wait is the hardest part.

But know around 90% of US educated nurses pass the NCLEX first attempt. So the odds are in your favor

Thanks for your response... I just hope & pray I'm not in the rare case of getting good pop up inaccurate. I'll post my results soon I get

Got home 20 mins after I took mine and it took my $200 and even sent me an email

saying I was all re registered again. Pretty sure I failed lol idk why it would have gone that far .

It went that far because you tried to trick the system before your exam was scored a second time by not waiting at least 24 hours. If you did indeed pass you will not get a refund of the $200. If you failed you prepaid for your second attempt.

So what do you need help with? We cannot discuss questions you had on the NCLEX. You cannot change your answers now. Your options are to pay for quick results (if your state participates) or wait for the BoN to release your results. The number and type of questions is not indicative of pass or fail.

That's because Pearson made it so you have to put in your cc card and go all the way to the end and THEN it tells you, you can't register. Sorry for the added stress, you just didn't finish going all the way through, at least that's what it sounds like. Congrats on passing

They didn't "make" it so you had to do anything. They updated their software & as a consequence the PVT changed.

Same difference. Just make sure to go all the way to the end and do not stop and get discouraged after it asks you for cc info. Also use gift card just in case. Good luck to all!

No, not "same difference". The PVT wasn't created so you could find out your results of the NCLEX faster. That's what the unofficial results are for.
