Pearson Vue Trick

Nursing Students NCLEX

I'm sure this is one of the many posts about Pearson Vue Trick.....

I took my NCLEX yesterday. I have read several articles that swear by the trick. I have also read some that say they passed even though they didn't get the "good pop up". So here is my question.... has anyone got the "good pop up" but really failed?

Yes!!

I have yet to read about anyone getting the good popup and failing, but I have read about people getting the bad popup (read: $200 poorer) prior to 24 hours and passing.

Regardless of the fact that you have not read it it has happened.

Care to elaborate?

The system works a certain way, and although I'm sure there *could* be a glitch, it's highly unlikely.

Ok, well there you go- they did it immediately after their exams. And now I can say I have heard of this happening ;). Although they sort of broke the cardinal rule of waiting until 24 hours after testing, so their PVT experience is moot.

Thank you both for your response. FlyingScot thank you for sharing that link. I'm actually in a similar situation as that poster. A classmate and I both tested yesterday and did the PV Trick. We both got the "good pop up". I'm just not going to be relived until I see my name on the BON site. Thankfully we live in a state that posts quickly and we have the quick result option. Anticipation is killing me!

Good luck!!

I believe the worst situation to be in when you are an impatient person is a PN test-taker in CA. No results for 3-4 weeks! Crossing my fingers for you!

I would go insane. One of my instructors said she waited months because it was back when it was graded pen and paper and I just can't imagine lol. I expected the test to be tough, just not that tough. I felt like an idiot when I got finished.

You wouldn't be the first one! I was certain I'd failed in 85 questions. I think it's normal to feel as if you bombed it :bag:

My pass results arrived exactly 3 weeks later! Being in CA, the PVT was the only thing that brought some comfort. No quick results and our BON doesn't post license #s until you've paid :\

Oklahoma makes you pay first.

The trick is actually a glitch in PVs system. It was never meant to work. Due to the nature of it being a glitch, there are going to be false results, so yes, it can happen. The way the old one worked, it almost never gave you a false pass. The revised trick seems to be not quite as accurate as the old one.
