I tried the Pearson vue trick and got a separate pop up I got in red writing "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled. Another registration cannot be made at this time". This was my second time taking it and last time I was able to go right ahead and pay to reregister!!! I THINK I passed?!!!! It says results not available on the other page then I tried the PVT!

Good chance that you did pass. Just wait for the official results though. :)

Your exam is scored twice within a 24-hour period after completion of the exam. If you played 'the trick' prior to the end of that time frame, pop ups mean nothing.

If it's been at least 24 hours, and you cannot register for another exam, it is *MOST* likely you passed, but not conclusive. Typically the results that are indicated after 24 hours via 'the trick' are correct.

But prior to 24 hours.....means nothing either way.

So I tried it again just now and it hasn't changed! Plus I left their knowing I did well!

If you're still getting that statement in red, you have almost certainly passed this time! :anpom:

Since it's been 24 hours since you took the exam, I would be very, very shocked if you ended up failing. I got my license something like 35 hours after I walked out of the exam. Give it another 24 hours for good measure (48 hours) and if you're still getting the notification, you have passed. Also, keep an eye on your state's license website as well as NurSys because most states participate in that program, so depending upon their update schedule, you might see an update there before you see it locally (I doubt it though).

I passed!!!!!! Pvt does work!!!

Congratulations!

Thanks!!! This feels unreal!!

CONGRATS!

(and regarding PVT....only if you follow the instructions plastered all over the place, LOL.....)

So I took my test yesterday at 11:45. Well I started alittle earlier than that. I went home and tried the trick. But it told me that my card has declined because I dont have money in it. I am so scared. It hasnt been 24 hours yet. This is my second time taking it. I took it before and stopped at 170. This time around I took it and stop at 205. I managed to stay sane. I really want to pass this test soo bad. I took a review class and i felt it was helpful, and I have been studying before that. SOMEONE TALLK TO ME IM FREAKIN OUT

First and foremost, stop freaking out: it has never helped anyone, I promise you! Take a breath.

The reason why those of us who follow this thing closely recommend waiting at least 24 hours after completion of the exam is because you must allow that much time for TWO sets of scorings to be done. The first score is finalized immediately after the exam, and that's the one you're recognizing as a possible failure. MOST of the time the second score matches the first, and that's that. SOMETIMES, though, the second score is different than the first (and the reason why the people who didn't wait--and had a different final score--will declare that the PVT "didn't work for them").

It's this second score that matters, and is decisive.

Personally, I'd suggest that if you have the option of paying eight bucks for Quick Results you do that, as those results are official, no 'trick' involved. If not, you can try the PVT again after a full 24 hours, and see what happens. If your card has a charge attempt made at that point, the most likely result is you failed.

Thank you. I didn't know their was 2 scores. But I'll give it 24 hours. Is it 24 hrs once I finished the test or the start of the test?
