Pearson Vue Trick NCLEX RN 2017 265 Questions Wisconsin

Published

Hey all!

I wanted to give a quick update to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) 2017. While looking for if the "trick" still worked, I didn't see much updated info, and wanted to hopefully alleviate some stress on new grads. I took NCLEX Jan 10th 2017, and got all 265 questions. I started at 8am and finished around 11am. I came home and cried my eyes out thinking I failed, because I assumed getting all the questions was a bad thing. Long story short I tried the PVT by trying to reregister for nclex at about 2pm (I told myself I was going to wait until the next day, but I just couldn't!). I used a current credit card, but put in the incorrect exp date and cvc. I got the "good popup" but wasn't convinced. The good pop up says something about you have already registered for the test blah blah and will not take your money. I tried again later in the evening, maybe around 6ish and got the same result. I was slightly more hopeful, but still not convinced. In Wisconsin we have an OLAS application website I checked also, and next to my nclex results it turned green and said met. At exactly 8am the next day I got the official email from the State of Wisconsin that I had passed, and contained my RN number. I also bought the quick results which said pass.... Soooo long story short the PVT worked for me in 2017!

At pretty much exactly 48 hours after my testing start time, quick results became available and I passed! I got the "good pop-up" yesterday so it worked for me. Passed with 265 questions!!

Hey everyone!

I tried this trick yesterday after taking NCLEX. I started at 2pm and ended around 5:30pm. I had all 265 questions and as soon as I left I went to my car and cried because I felt that there was no chance in passing. I told myself that I wasn't going to do the PVT but I couldn't help myself, haha. As soon as I got home I checked and I got the "good pop up" but I was still skeptical because I figured that it was too soon for it to work. I tried again and again about 5 times throughout the night and I still kept getting the "good pop up" but I was still skeptical because I felt as if I didn't know any of the material even though I did the Hurst review. This morning I checked my states Board of Nursing and THERE I WAS! My name and license number, I woke up my husband and yelled "I PASSED!!"

If you take 265 questions you have to get #265 correct. Did you?

you do not need to get the 265th question correct to pass. You have to be above the passing standard for long enough to reach the 95% certainty of minimum competency. You can do this even if you get the last question wrong, it happens. People shouldn't focus on individual questions because it doesn't do any good, you won't know if your correct answer was correct but still below the passing standard, or incorrect but you were still above the passing standard.

Yeah, what they said!

I got all 265 and I know I didn't get the last question right but I still passed.

Just wanted to give a quick update of the PVT.

So I sat for my boards on 2/7/17. After 85 questions the exam shut off.

Later that same evening I attempted to do the PVT.

You literally need to enter your c/c info and press submit, as if you were going to pay to register for another exam.

After you press submit, you will receive the "good pop-up" stating -

"Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

If you see this, YOU PASSED!

Just received my unofficial results today 2/9/17, through the quick results option.

I PASSED!!

Have faith people, it works! Good Luck!

I got my quick results Saturday morning and I passed. It was on KBN's website that Monday!! Good luck to everyone.

I took the NCLEX-PN on 1/31/17 at the Pasadena, CA location, stopped at 85 questions, and it is currently 2/12/17 and still have not received results. I did the pvt 3 times since then and got the good pop up each time. I am curious if testing locations have to do with how long it takes to get results as others in my class went to a different location and it only took a week to hear they passed. I'm starting to worry that I actually failed. Any experiences with Pasadena location?

Feeling very anxious. My 48 hoirs will be up in a couple of hours. Sat for the NCLEX RN on friday. Left feeling very discouraged and like I didnt do well. I have been getting the "good pop up" ever since but still not feeling very confident. Would love to hear from others who thought they failed but got the good pop up and passed❤

Took my test 2/11/17. I did the pvt put in wrong card holder name wrong exp date and cc number and im getting the "good pop" however its been about 20hrs since my test. I honestly walked out 100% sure i had failed. It stoped at 85 with more than half being select all that apply. I was ready to study again but did the pvt and its giving me hope. has anybody had a "good pop" and failed?

Keep us posted. Im in the same boat. The next few hours will be tortureí ½í¸¯
