I wanted to give a quick update to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) 2017. While looking for if the "trick" still worked, I didn't see much updated info, and wanted to hopefully alleviate some stress on new grads. I took NCLEX Jan 10th 2017, and got all 265 questions. I started at 8am and finished around 11am. I came home and cried my eyes out thinking I failed, because I assumed getting all the questions was a bad thing. Long story short I tried the PVT by trying to reregister for nclex at about 2pm (I told myself I was going to wait until the next day, but I just couldn't!). I used a current credit card, but put in the incorrect exp date and cvc. I got the "good popup" but wasn't convinced. The good pop up says something about you have already registered for the test blah blah and will not take your money. I tried again later in the evening, maybe around 6ish and got the same result. I was slightly more hopeful, but still not convinced. In Wisconsin we have an OLAS application website I checked also, and next to my nclex results it turned green and said met. At exactly 8am the next day I got the official email from the State of Wisconsin that I had passed, and contained my RN number. I also bought the quick results which said pass.... Soooo long story short the PVT worked for me in 2017!

I took it in California and did the PVT right when I got home, it took $200 from me. Has anybody gotten charged and still passed? My school administrator said PVT is a myth and will take some people's money regardless of the results
Just wanted to update! Got my letter today and passed! PVT trick was accurate for me. Took my test in California on 1/31 and received results two weeks later on 2/14. Good luck to you all!

hi, so am really freaking out right now, cos I had to go all the way to 265 questions. have tried the pvt couple of times and has gotten good pop up. very skeptical. have been reading post on how successful it is. took exam on 2/14/17 at 8am. very worried.
Pvt rules!!!!!! I passed with 265 results came less than the scheduled time of 48 hours. I wrote the exam on 2/14/17 at 10 oclock, and results was in by 2pm the next day at board of nursing. site. YaY!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has taken some people's money even though they passed the test because you submitted valid credit card info and the card can get charged because of that. doesn't happen often it seems but it can and has happened.
unfortunately most of the time if a card is charged if means you have failed, so I wouldn't hold out much hope for the prospect of passing, sorry.
I'm sure u passed.
