I wanted to share this information because just last night I was frantically searching for it myself and couldn't find anything current. The date today is 2/10/16. I took NCLEX yesterday and I know I passed because my name is listed as having an active license from the state. However, the Pearson Vue Trick did not work for me! Even right now, knowing that I passed, it is still letting me register for a new test!
So, if it lets you register please do not rely on this alone! You still may have passed!
I hope this is helpful to someone who is out there thinking they failed because the almighty Pearson Vue Trick didn't work for them!
I took the exam on Feb 15. PVT is accurate. Did it an hour after I took the exam and got a good pop-up. Did it again 8 hours and 24 hours after the exam and still gotten the same pop-up. Checked my results 2 days later and paid for the quick results and saw the word "PASS". Passed the nclex with 75 questions. Lots of Priority and SATA. One of the hardest exams I have taken.

Were you charged $200? Did you attempt within the first 24 hours?
In my opinion. Pvt is 99%acurate if u checked 18-24 hrs later. It worked for me. And it is graded twice so you shouldn't do pvt until 18 hrs later. Wait for ur email that says u completed nclex and will be able to get quick results.. When u go to the quick results link.. U will have to sign in as if u r registering and there's a link at the bottom that will say ur results are not available. But above that there will be a part that says no appointments can be sceduled at this time. Even before u do the PVT
Register like u are scheduling another test and put cc info in.. And hit submit.. It will not go thru if u pass. U will get the good pop up if not it will say insufficient funds or allow u to register
I don't know, maybe it has changed, but it worked for me when I did it. I took my NCLEX in March of last year and back in October 2014 when I was taking Kaplan, I guess it came out that the trick no longer worked. Someone had passed, but was still charged (this was hearsay, though). I did it several hours after taking the exam, but I used a real credit card that was nearly maxed out so I knew that even if they were able to charge me, it wouldn't go through because there wasn't enough room on the card. And for me, the trick worked. Maybe putting in fake numbers prevents it from working? Who knows.
I took the NCLEX yesterday, 2/23/16 at 0800. I had around 150 questions and finished just under 2hr. I was sure I failed! Felt like I wasn't sure about most of the questions, had SO many SATA and prioritization questions. Once I got home I tried to wait for the quick results, but only made it two hours before attempting the PVT trick ha...I got the good pop up. I was totally skeptical still though, knowing that it's most accurate after 24 hr and even then might not be for sure. But it gave me a glimmer of hope and I was able to relax and sleep that night. Just checked again today and still have the good pop up. I will let yall know tomorrow when I get the official results if I did actually pass.
Oh and FYI, I used my CC number with the wrong expiration date and security code to avoid being charged. You have to hit 'submit'.
