Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
UPDATE:for " I took mine on 26th Julyand wondering what could happen to my result. ...have Not good feeling about the test. After I read many of the comments, I tried it and got the "pop up". Currently, My Pearsonvue account is showing me my result is not in yet. After 5 hrs i will finish my 48 hrs waiting period. For sure I will let you know. Keep the disccusion going; it gives hope for a lot of people."
Thanks to Jesus the LORD for keeping me going. I PASSED the NCLEX-RN . I transfered from 3 years NAC carrer to RN. I thnk the PVT works. For FYI i had 75 questions.
Peanut, I did over 3,000 questions in 45 days, read the rationales wrong and right. I used NCSBN'S website; i did not read, i just did their quesstions. LaCharity book is most useful, I also loved Exam Cram. I only reviewed content that I had a hard time focusing on. I memorized the infection control mneumonics. Oh and review testing strategies, i even wrote some down on my white board to refer too. Also, I really felt that the questions on my NCLEX this second attempt were easier. Not sure if that's a fact but just felt like it was.
Good Luck!
Thanks for your reply! So the LaCharity..is that the prioritization and delegation book?? As far as infection control neumonics what are you referring to...something in one of the review books to remember better? Just wondering if all of these helpful hints were from a review book or a mix of sources? I think I will definitely get the LaCharity book seeing as how my NCLEX had about 50% of those questions on there (which is prob why I failed). I just dont want to have to spend $100 plus to get review books...still gotta save to retest soon!!!
you know thats funny...i love in new york and i thought it was 45 days too but its actually 47!...lol...yes...exam cram is a great source...and yes those days do fly...it may seem like forever but...the time will creep up on ya...and I believe PVT...first time i failed got the cc page...second time good pop-up...so...it works
congrats to all new rns!!
i took my nclex rn yesterday in ohio. got ALL 265:uhoh3: i cried all day yesterday. the only comfort is my hubby who said he still loves even if i fail.
i got good "pop up" at PVT. i know that ohio has quick results service. i was just wondering if anybody else from oh took nclex and got good pop up and passed??
thanks.
I took the nclex-pn today and did that pearson vue trick thing and I got the "good pop up" window. Does it work for both LVN and RN exams and does it work for Texas people?
Please someone let me know, the anxiety is making me crazy.
Welcome to the site
Because you are asking about the pearsonvue trick I am merging this with the thread as we request that all questions regarding the trick is kept together
Good luck
Congrats to everyone who passed..I am a firm believer that this whole pearson vue re register thing works.. unfortunately for me I did not pass the Nclex. This was my first try and I put countless hours and days into studying and preparing, I knew all my labs to a T, Read an entire Nclex review book front to back and was scoring great on practice questions. I have been getting the CC page for 2 days and paid for the quick results this morning with a big fat FAIL. I hope i have better luck my next time around. Any suggestions are appreciated.
