  5. Took Nclex rn this morning at 8am..75 questions..this was my retake since i failed in july. Did the pearson trick today and got the good pop up!! Last time i got the CC page and found out later that I did indeed fail! I feel much more confident today than last time. I just hope this is still a pretty good indication of passing! Has anyone ever heard of somone taking it for the second time and getting the good pop up but still failing???
  6. Hello everyone, I am among those of you that have failed the Nclex RN. I took mine in july and am taking it agin next tuesday. I am a nervous wreck! I feel more prepared this time but still uneasy about it. I have used various sources to study this time and put alot more time in. I have read the kaplan book completely as well as all of the questions in book and on cd. I also have been using the saunders cd with 5000 questions.. I did the ncsbn course which was nice but i was unable to complete the last portion before it expired. I also purchased the lacharity priority book and have done several of the sections in that..(which i found to be much more difficult than any other questions ive done)..I would say on average i have been doing about 100-300 questions a day for 6 weeks..oh ya..i use the exam cram book for a quick reference to look up content and brush up on systems and things like that..not sure what else i can do at this point..i think im going to stop reading and just do questions for the next couple days..and not do a thing past saturday...then i cross my fingers until tuesday!! Any other advice or recommendations are greatly appreciated!!! Good luck to all of you!!
  7. I am very sorry for your loss. I also failed the nclex rn in july and am sceduled to retake it in october. I have been reading kaplan review and also did the ncsbn review, although i did not complete the entire course before it expired. I wish u luck. The kaplan does seem very helpful but I am looking for some type of up to date question bank. Everything i see is older and as we know the nclex has been modified this year and i wld prefer to study from up dated sources. Any advice is appreciated! tHANKS!
  8. Can anyone give me any advice for good question sources? This will be my 2nd attempt on the nclex rn. I am using kaplan and did most of the ncsbn review. But im looking for a good up to date question bank.
  9. I could use some good study advice. I took the NCLEX RN in july and did not pass. I am reading Kaplan and also did the ncsbn review course. Any other recommendations? I am looking for a good practice cd or online download foor up to date questions to the 2010 format. Has anyone used nclex 4000 or know of somthing similar that is newer? Thanks to anyone who can help!
  10. I did this a few weeks ago and it did work for me...a friend of mine took the nclexrn this morning and i am trying to help him to try this too..but he forgot his log in info as well as his security questions..Does anyone know if this will still work if he has to re sign up for an account???
  11. Love the quote from your mom!! Some of the best nurses have failed the Nclex..Dont let it get you down..I kno..easier said than done..
  12. I failed also and have been doing NCSBN learning extension course that some others on here suggested. It seems very similar to nclex style questioning and has alot of review as well. Good luck and hang in there:)
  13. Im so sorry to hear that. Well I will cross my fingers for you and I next time. I did register for the learningext.com thing everyone recomended and it does seem like a good one. Mbaye you should look into it as well. Good luck next time and keep me posted.
