  1. Hi Guys! Just do as many question AS YOU CAN everyday. I only reviewed for one and a half months. When I say as MANY question as you can, it means that answering a specific number of questions that your mind can digest that day. Also, it is important to read the rationales of the WRONG answers. Review your labs, Infection control, know the basics of each disorders/diseases and answer questions from LaCharity and Davis(Kathleen Ohman) and I believe that you are good to go! My LaCharity scores are 50-65% and my Davis' scores are just in between 48-66%...
  2. Hi Silverdragon... I passed NCLEX first week of September under IL BON. I have completed the application and submitted my CES. I now have my pass letter from them. Some people that I talk to said that I should have submitted CT NUR, but neither CTS nor IDFPR asked me to send it. They should have advised me to to submit it prior to NCLEX if I really have to do that, right? But since they didn't ask me for it, I don't think that I still need to process that since my CES has license verification! Thanks!
  3. is it exactly 3 weeks or within the 3rd week or 3 weeks and few days? Sorry Im goin nuts. Thank you!
  4. Thank you! But what? Thats more than 1 month!!! I have a job offer to a hospital that I really want to work with... They said that they can only hold the position for me for 2 weeks... that makes me sad
  5. PVT is Pearson Vue Trick... You do this by trying to reregister for NCLEX exam after you take test (Just make sure that delivery is successful) and a good pop up means that you passed the test. A Good pop up is the one with "contact your BON..." Books: Davis NCLEX 2010 (there is only one Davis book where Kathleen Ohman is the main author), and LaCharity's book is Prioritization, Delegation and Assignment.
  6. I answered Chapter 1-14 and chose the case study(I think I answered 3) that I'm having difficulty with.....
  7. Hi! Do any of you guys know how long will it take for me to receive my license number? I passed the test last week, Thursday to be exact. I just need it ASAP for my job. Any response would be deeply appreciated. Thanks!:)
  8. Gold, I live here in Indiana but I'm a Filipino though. Focus on Davis(Kathleen Ohman) and La Charity... Forget the other books but make sure that you digest the rationale of the correct and wrong answers of these two books.
  9. I was not able to finish Saunders(I finished up to Chapter 50 and the rest? I just breezed through it)... I barely used Kaplan (I find it not that helpful)... Davis 2010 by Kathleen Ohman and LaCharity books ARE ENOUGH for you to pass NCLEX. In fact, NCLEX is not as hard as Davis' and LaCharity's questions. Saunders got the easy questions. Kaplan has average questions. Davis and LaCharity definitely got the MOST DIFFICULT QUESTIONS.
  10. I took the test last September 9. I stopped at 95 and at first, I'm shocked! The test is neither easy nor difficult. I told myself that there is chance that I failed but the chance that I passed the test is higher. Sometimes it is difficult to tell others that the exam is "NOT-REALLY-THAT-HARD" if you still don't know if you passed. Just to be on the safe side. I got 2 SATA, 2 pictures, 1 exhibit, prioritization, familiar drugs(Yes, familiar), and infection control. No delegation. I tried the PVT 6 hours after the test and got the good pop up! And yesterday, I just found out that I really did pass! Guys, seriously, all you need to buy is the LaCharity and Davis 2010 book by Kathleen Ohman. I have Saunders and Kaplan as well though. These two(La Charity and Davis)books, if you will really understand the rationale of each questions and choices, are enough to pass the test! Whenever you answer a question from these books and understand the rationale behind each options, you are also reviewing the content indirectly. I am so happy because in an RN now! To everyone who passed, Congratulations as well! To those who failed, try the LaCharity-Davis combination! To this website and all admins, Thank you so much! This site has helped me a lot! Cheers!:)
  11. Silverdragon, do u know If Illinois posts the names of new nurses on their website? And with the pop up that I got, do u think I passed the test? I stopped at 95..
  12. Hi! I took the test yesterday. When I got home (after 5 hours) I tried the PVT after I verified that delivery is successful... I received the pop up which says that I cannot re-register and to contact my BON. I WAS a believer of PVT trick because of what I read from several websites but it feels so different when it is you, checking your own exam result. Do you guys think I pass???? I mean I really am confused right now....
  13. Hi! I recommend using Davis 2010 by Kathleen Ohman, LaCharity book and NCLEX 311 by RA Gapuz(this nclex 311 is suprisingly helpful... VERY helpful)
  14. There are 2 kinds of pop up that will not allow you to reregister... Which one did you get?
  15. Hi! Can you email it to me? [email protected] its underscore between lee and ryan.... thanks! :) Thank you so much!
