Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Congrats to everyone who passed..I am a firm believer that this whole pearson vue re register thing works.. unfortunately for me I did not pass the Nclex. This was my first try and I put countless hours and days into studying and preparing, I knew all my labs to a T, Read an entire Nclex review book front to back and was scoring great on practice questions. I have been getting the CC page for 2 days and paid for the quick results this morning with a big fat FAIL. I hope i have better luck my next time around. Any suggestions are appreciated.

You have a great attitude erinp.. I am so sorry, however I do not believe this test is an indication of anything! It is nothing more than a hurdle to get over! You will get that "pass" next time I just know it! I tried the learningext. from the NCSBN and loved it! God bless!

Yes still waiting also

Did you get your results yet? Mine were in around 10am or so on pearson vue site..but not Licensure

Thanks! I have to say, this is a great forum here. I think ive spent about 30 of the last 48 hours reading through these things and communicated with others in the same boat. It definitly helped relieve the anxiety of waiting. Even tho the trick was true for me in a negative way it helped to read the stories of others. Thanks guys!

Does anyone know when the quick results can be accessed, my appointment time was 11:30 Monday morning and I thought I could find out in 48 hours after that...still no results :sniff:

Sometimes takes a little bit longer than 48 hours

Thank you...I feel like it's a bad omen, I did all 265 but I got the good pop up

Mine took 491/2 hours. I passed.

@ erinrp

I also took the NCSBN's learning extension review - lots of good info. LaCharity's book was priceless to me. I learned alot. Do NCLEX 75-100 questions a day especially the analysis/application type. They are the passing questions according to Kaplan. It's a pain but does help you get used to the type.

what time was your test scheduled for?

what time was your test scheduled for?

my test was at 8am

PVT worked for me, I just did my quick results on Pearson and it said I passed!!! The state website doesn't have it listed yet though...I'm so relieved!!!

PVT worked for me too! took NCLEX RN on monday at 12pm.... got the quick results just now and i passed! actually works! I still can't believe that i passed because i knew right from the moment i went out of the room after shutting down at 75 questions that i failed. That feeling doesn't make sense at all. I am just so happy that I passed. Will be praying that others will too. Good luck to you all. This site helped me a lot.
