  1. Thank you both for your replies. Last question, when they mail you the results, is your license included or just papers saying that you passed the exam? Thanks again.
  2. Hi everyone. Just wondering who else took NCLEX in New York. If you passed in NY, how do you verify if you're licensed? Like in their site, do you pick "nurse, RN" or "Registered Professional Nurse"? How long does it usually take to see your name in the site? Thanks in advance!
  3. PVT worked for me too! took NCLEX RN on monday at 12pm.... got the quick results just now and i passed! actually works! I still can't believe that i passed because i knew right from the moment i went out of the room after shutting down at 75 questions that i failed. That feeling doesn't make sense at all. I am just so happy that I passed. Will be praying that others will too. Good luck to you all. This site helped me a lot.
  4. hi all i just wanted to ask some help regarding how to make a simple pathophsiology of neonatal sepsis... any input is very much welcome... thanks! i really am lost when it comes to making these...
  5. thanks! um, another silly question... um... in stroke patients or comatose, are the pupils still PERRLA or something else? what are the usual findings regarding the pupils? thanks again!
  6. well, first of all, i've been confused with this stuff. i mean, when recording the pupil size of the patient, which one do you record: the size before or after illumination? and in patients with tracheostomy, where do they exactly exhale: through the nares or the trach tube? how do you check the nasal patency? well, that's about it. any inputs and answers are definitely welcome. thanks!:imbar
  7. thanks a lot. btw, am a sophomore student. and yes, i can get too overwhelmed at times. anyways. thanks again:wink2:
  8. well, i had a post frontotemporoparietal craniotomy patient. and also had ARF type III secondary to HCVD secondary to post craniotomy. and now, has a left sided weakness. is also diabetic. and i probably will have to do a physical assessment later. so, i was hoping for any inputs on how i should prioritize the areas. her neuro function is okay. good PERRLA. and also, about making a simple care plan for this patient and special precautions in handling this patient, i am also hoping to get ideas from anyone. thanks:thankya:
  9. thanks. uh, just wondering again, about eliciting the best motor response. how does one correctly elicit it, and in situations like the patient flexes abnormally and the such. TY:sofahider
  10. hey, just wondering about the correct answers on this... just to check if i was right...
  11. thanks! can i also ask about the nusrsing interventions? um, the usual independent interventions that is... and nursing responsibilities... thanks again:p
  12. hello. umm, hope to get your insights on what i should be focusing in getting physical assessment for a patient who has uterine bleeding... thanks
  13. thanks for the inputs!
  14. hi. um, i just hoped to ask for help in making a nursing care plan for this patient of mine. medical diagnosis of intramural myoma, chief complaint is enlarged abdomen. has undergone TAHBSO. is currently experiencing intermittent gnawing pain on the surgical site. also, needs help in certain ADLs like bathing, toileting, grooming and hygiene. hope you can help me with what nursing diagnoses i will use. i'll most probably prioritize the rest and comfort of the patient, then the motor function. also, i'm having troubles with the rationale for each Independent intervention, because we need to present it. hope to hear from your ideas. thanks a lot.
