Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
Well I took the RN exam this morning. Computer shut down at 75 questions and I realized I'd only been there for like an hour. Felt like I was having a heart attack all day and was scared to even do the PVT thinking if I failed I would have to go to work tomorrow and probably be terminated since I'm working under a TPP right now. Finally decided I couldn't live this way for the next 48 hours or I would have stroked out.
Did the PVT and got the "good" pop up. I seriously could not believe it, I felt like I was going to vomit all of my internal organs out! Waiting for the BON to post my license but at least I know I made it!!! Yay!!!
I took the Nclex Rn at 2pm in Lake Success, NY and my questions stopped at 77. I was so shocked and I did not know what to do because I got 15 SATA (Select All That Apply), 10 medications that I think came from Mars and over 20 Prioritizations that I never read about. I am sure to my heart I failed and I called my wife that I failed. My RN friend told me about this PV trick. I did the trick and got the "good pop up" as they say. It should be a miracle if I pass and I think I will not be able to sleep for the official result 48 hours from now. Oh my God have mercy on me. I hope the PV Trick will not fail on me. Pray for me guys!!!
I took my boards today. I tried the trick and got the cc page. I'm bummed about it. I only had 86 questions. I can tell this trick is acurate as far as the "good pop up" is concerned, but what about the cc page? Has that not been right for anyone? Either way, I have already started studying (I hope im wasting my time).
so did you pass?
i took my nclex exam today. the computer shut off at 85 questions and i started to cry. i didn't feel confident at all. i actually went and sat in the car and cried for a good ten minutes then drove home. i only told a few people that i was taking it today. so i went home and tried the pearsonvue trick or whatever it is called and i got the message that said "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your board member for further assistance. another registration cannot be made @ this time". is this the good pop up?!?!!? i have done it about 30 times! and am still getting the same thing. if this is the good pop up is it safe to say i have passed?? or should i still be worried??
thanks a bunchhhhh!!!!!

Took the NCLEX-RN in California yesterday at 8:00am, shut off at 75 questions. Got the good popup yesterday after the test, and today this afternoon. I felt it was a very hard and tricky test.
After extensive digging through countless forums and posts about the Pearson Vue Trick, it seems most of the time it is accurate, HOWEVER, there were 2 or 3 cases i've read (including on this thread) that indicate they've failed with the good popup.
That being said, the trick cannot give me much peace of mind . My classmates claim to have also tried the trick with success, but it is clearly not a guaranteed pass. I will have to wait and see tomorrow.. Good luck to everyone in waiting.

I took my NCLEX-PN on August 20th this past Saturday, I got 85 questions and it shut off. I was done in an hour and felt like I didn't answer anything right.... I tried the "trick" and got the good pop up message about contacting the member board... Than for about the rest of the 48 hour wait for the quick result I read thru hundreds of pages from this thread. So I got my quick result.... I PASSED!!! I am an LPN!! :redpinkhe:nurse::w00t: it works!!!! Nothing beats seeing that word PASS tho!!!
