Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

I took the NCLEX RN yesterday and after the long drive home, I logged into pearson vue site to find "delivery successful." I then attempted to register again and was blocked by the "good popup". I failed the exam once and last time it let me register again. I hope and pray this is a good sign. I already feel like a moron for failing. I graduated near the top of my class with honors in a BSN program. I have always had some trouble with the "standardized exams." My poor analytical mind will not allow me to just pick the best answer without considering EVERY possiblity. I did study more this time and I hope I passed, but if I didn't, I will study harder and take it again in 45 days. I intend to pass. I worked hard for this and will NEVER give up. Your prayers are appreciated. :nurse:

Amazing! The PVT is right on! Last time I failed and was able to get to CC page, this time I got the good pop up and just got my results, and I passed! Thank you Jesus, for everything!:D:smokin::coollook::clown:

Thank you Lord!! :) God is awesome! The Pearson Vue Trick is awesome. It worked for me. Took the exam on the 22nd, I checked Ca BRN today (25th) and I PASSED! Goodluck to everybody! Let's hope that pearson vue won't change their settings. This really helps alot of nurses alleviate their anxiety while they wait for the aggonizing WAIT. More power to everybody. Happy Holidays everyone! :smokin:

Just a little information to help anyone that might need it. Like everyone else, I knew nothing about NCLEX and the ramifications of the exam. I failed it in 78 questions the first time. I took a Hurst Review and felt like I did no better the second time. In fact, of the 5 or 6 questions I remembered, I looked them up and I had missed them all! But see thats the problem. I only remembered the questions I Knew nothing about. I came home this past Thursday ALL UPSET that I had failed again. I went to Pearson Vue website to register for the exam AGAIN. But I got the so called GOOD POPUP. Last time when I failed, it let me register again right away. So I took the test December 23rd in the early AM, 8AM to be exact. Since quick results takes 2 business days I thought I would probably not learn of my fate until the following Tuesday. That is 5 days total! With Christmas in all, well, I just would have to tough it out. BUT, I read on here that Pearson Vue would allow quick results in 48 hours and holidays didn't matter. Well guess what? THAT IS FACT. In just a few minutes over 48 hours from when I started the exam, on CHRISTMAS DAY, I got my quick results and I passed! So yes the Pearson VUE "Trick" is fact also. I had NO FAITH in it since I just knew I failed. I feel like that if you get several SATA type questions, then you are doing well on the exam..the more you get, the higher level questions you have been answering correctly. Just my opinion. I hope this helps..and as of today, December 25th 2010, I have completed my BSN journey and I passed that nasty NCLEX! God bless you all.

:yeah::coollook:

She said god bless everyone with a smily face smoking a cigarette. Put an angle there next time you talk about God.

I just thought the icon looked cute. I meant no disrespect.

Congratulations! I hope I'll have the same fate as you when I take my Nclex the 2nd time around. You inspire me, so thanks and congrats! :)

 So I took my NCLEX-PN on Christmas Eve Eve because I wanted to get it over with before Christmas, b/c who is going to study over Christmas?! LOL So I haven't tried checking my results with my credit card because I keep hearing about this trick. I've looked at all these posts about this so-called trick, but I never saw any exact instructions. So here is what I tried, and you all please tell me if I did the right thing.

1. I logged onto My Account on Pearson Vue with my username and password

2. I clicked on Register on the left side of the page

3. I checked the NCLEX-PN box, Chose my country/state/school/etc. and clicked next

4. A little box popped up on my screen with the following: "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

Is this the "good pop-up" that people are talking about? Or is it something else?

I read that the "bad pop-up" is just a new screen asking for your payment information.

Just wondering, and just pulling my hair out waiting for my results, just like every other person who has ever taken the NCLEX! :) There were alot more Select All That Apply than I had expected, and I just HATE Select All That Apply!!

So any replies/confirmations would be greatly appreciated, and I'll apologize before hand for me posting just another "OMG I just took my NCLEX and I'm freaking out" thread.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy Early New Year!! :nurse:

YAY!! I took mine on the 23rd as well...NCLEX-PN though...I've been logging on to Pearson Vue and registering and reregistering, and getting that "good pop-up" over and over...I'm kind of excited, but very hesitant at the same time. I want to see my name on the Board of Nursing website before I start celebrating :) But congrats to you. I hope to get my BSN in the future, but for now this step-up will work just fine :)
