Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:
1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.
2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
Shut off on 85, and I was so worried. It totally works, took my boards on the 27th annd got the good pop-up. Quick results just in I passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!
congrats..sandybrownfour..im taking my boards next week on wed..im super scared..did u take kaplan course or any other tips how you studied for it..thanks
Ok so I took my nclex RN today at like 10am. I don't even know how many questions I did before it shut off. I can tell you that I felt like I got every single question wrong. This was my 2nd time and I have been out of school almost 2yrs so that made things even harder. Well, when I got home I did the PVT and it gave me the good pop up. I started crying and shaking. But still not like 100% happy just becuz I'm still scared that it might be wrong and I might have failed. so I haven't told anyone just my little sister and I've told every1 else that I changed my test date becuz I didn't feel ready. I just want to shout from the top of my head the good news.

Let us know how it goes. I have a week to go and I am really nervous!
I will the sec. I get the official results. I am now forcing myself to go to sleep b/c I just can't take it any more. I am so afraid to go to sleep and find out that I failed. I have been to the FL DOH like a 1000 times and still nothing.
I think I will be the same, "good" popup or not, until I receive the official notification. It seems no matter how much studying I do, how many questions I answer, there is SO much I still don't know, and what if all the questions I get are based on the stuff I don't know?
My nerves are shot!
Thinking of you, though, and wishing you the best!
ok so I just paid for my results for my exam and I passed. PVT did wrk. still nothing on the FL DOH. I truly most say that I could not have done this with out God and prayer. To everyone else look over spiderman and know it like the back of ur hand. I wish everyone much luck and if u don't pass the first time as hard as it may be keep on going. Have faith in God.
I took my NCLEX-LPN on 12/30/10 @ 2pm in southern California. I ve been checking probably every 6hrs for the pearsonvue trick everyone is talking about. I can tell you that by the time I got home from taking my exam, the status was already set to 'delivery successful'. I am getting the 'good popup' that is documented on this site, and i am hopping that this is a true indicator of test results because I do not want to have to ever retake that exam lol. I finished in about 1.5hrs 85 questions. When the screen went blank with the "loading content" box, I kind of panicked. I did not feel like i had breezed through it and I also did not feel like I had completely failed it bad enough for it to make a decision of my knowledge with just the sixty something questions that count. Crossing my fingers hopping everything goes well

Because this is asking about something to do with pearsonvue trick I am merging with existing thread.
We have had people both pass or fail when on hold.
