Pearson Vue Pop Up Meanings

There has been some confusion when it comes to the NCLEX Pearson Vue Trick. So I wanted to clarify a few things. If the pop up you receive begins with "our records indicate" you have a 99.9% chance of passing the NCLEX. If the pop up states "results are on hold" that does not indicate passing or failing. For whatever reason they decided to look at your test a little closer or audit it and you should try the trick again in a couple of hours. If you receive the pop up "you have another test scheduled" you checked too early and need to retry again in a couple of hours. VERY IMPORTANT: before you try the test, make sure your status on the Pearson Vue website says delivery successful. If you try it before it says that you will receive the last pop up I mentioned. Last but not least, if it takes you to the credit card page, the liklihood that you failed is 99.9%. I do not say 100% because glitches do happen and there is rarely that one person who claims they passed even though it went to the credit card page. Well there you have it. I took the Nclex June 14 and received 75qs. I got the good pop up! I used Kaplan to review as well.

I got the good popup "our records indicate you have already scheduled this test and you cannot schedule it again" my test was 265 questions. I assume I PASSED!?!?!!

Thanks, RN Student. The way I understand it is that the computer adaptive test grades you as you go (that's how it knows to shut off) so logically it has your grade when it shuts off. Then it sends the file to Pearson Vue and that computer merely looks for abnormalities. 99% of the time it confirms the testing center data.

Because the results from the center are delivered, it wont let you register if you have a passing test, but will if it's failing. The 1% or so of the pops that are wrong is because Pearson Vue found a problem with the test itself and that's why you get more false fails than false passes. Is that all correct?

Just took mines today cut off at 75 and I received the good pop up!!!!!!!! Fingers crossed prayers up!!!

I think it's a stretch to say it's 99.9% correct, because at best, even using this informal survey 2014 Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) Poll - View Poll Results , it's only about 90% correct. Like condoms, human error is always a factor! :)

I do appreciate your post, and hope it eliminates the 400 daily, "Is this the good pop up?" posts!

FWIW, I just got the good pop up. Hoping it's accurate!
