The PBSC/PBCC thread is getting a tad crowded so I figure now is as good a time as any to get the prospective students thread going.

Ahh! I'm so close to the cut off with 28.9. College board sent my transcripts late so I missed out on my Sociology point. Do you think that it would count for an appeal? I think I was better off not knowing anything else. :uhoh3:

I forgot to mention, there were roughly 300 applications.

I have neglected to post my points. I have 30.07

I am not sure what you all have (I am fairly new to this), but it sounds like we all might make it.

Unless you had already made the appeal, I doubt it. I think it is too late. They probably stopped answering the phone by now. Just remember....there are only 4 appeals currently pending. There could easily be 10 people in between 28.62 and 28.9. The woman I spoke to didn't think all the appeals would go through, if any. If you were the one sitting at 28.62, then i'd be sweating. I wouldn't worry if I were you. (easier said than done, I know)

We're suppose to receive email confirmations first for our acceptance into the program and than letters in the mail. This is what my advisor told me.

Thank you soo much for the valuable information.. Even though it helped relieve some stress and anxiety, the waiting game is still killing me! Nothing is official until acceptance letters are safe in our inbox, and I agree, orientation. Hopefully we'll have similar news to share come Tuesday/Wednesday. Until then....

One of my friends did not get her denial yet, and she is way under the cut-off. I guess they did not go out yet. Sorry to add to the stress.
