PBSC/PBCC August 2010

Hi!

The PBSC/PBCC thread is getting a tad crowded so I figure now is as good a time as any to get the prospective students thread going.

Good luck to everyone!

Thank for starting a new thread. I applied for the august 2010 program too. I am so impatient and the wait to find out if I got it is going to kill me. Hopefully everyone else has better patience then I do.....cause this is torture. who's planning on taking the online classes?

You're welcome. Personally, I find that I do better when I sit in a classroom versus online classes for new material. It just depends on the subject. You're not the only one stressing; I think by this point we all are!

I just turned in my application two days ago and I also can't stand the wait. I should have around 27 or 28 points, what about you?

I ended up with 30.44 which is higher than I though I would have. It was 28.44 according to my calculations (I'm not complaining). I took close to two weeks for them to post my points to panther web. Now I just have to wait for the final desicion and the waiting continues...

I think you should get in with a 27-28.

Where is everyone from?

wow 30.44 points?! that's really good; I think you should definitely get in with that, you don't have to stress yourself over the wait

I'm gonna stress till I get a yes letter. It's my nature. You'll have to let me know how many points you end up with, cause I thought I would only have 28 too.

K I'll let you know as soon as they post it to my panther web.

It should take around two weeks for them to post it from the day I turned in my application right?

Seems to be the case, malenurse86. I'm so anxious, too. I was talking to a friend of mine and apparently last semester (Spring) the average of the LW applicants was 27+. Only about three more weeks to wait. I might die :)

Hey guys,

Did they post all of your points at once to the pantherweb system? I just checked and It's not showing points for my bachelors or my nursing prereqs. I called and left a message for them to let me know, but I'm kind of freaking out a little.

Hey woahmelly, I just checked my pantherweb and they posted all of my points at once; it's probably just a minor error, did they get back to you yet?

Hey ginmarada, they just posted my points to my pantherweb and I ended up with 29.66 points. I thought I would only have 28.66 but I recieved an extra point for my nursing course requirements; I hope it's enough to get into the program with

No, they haven't got back to me. If I don't have an email or the points in the morning I'll head over and see if I can get someone to tell me what's happening. And congrats on the point total! If everything is posted I should have roughly the same amount.
