Hopefully, someone has some experience with that.
Are the 3 P's (Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, and Physical Assessment) accept by other schools. For instance, if I received my MSN from WGU and I want to get a post-NP certificate, would other schools recognize the 3 P's from WGU or would I have to retake those classes?
I have to say I find the naming of the courses a little strange at WGU.
Pathopharmacological Foundations for Advanced Nursing Practice and Contemporary Pharmacotherapeutics almost sounds like you are taking two pharm classes.
Thank you for your help.

Contact schools directly. I am looking at doing a Post masters at a school that requires everyone to take their health assessment, regardless of where you are coming from, but allows transfer of pharm and patho. I suspect they will ask for a syllabus or something of the like if they have any qualms about the name of the course.

Most schools will accept the patho but will want you to repeat the pharm and health assessment course. The pharm from wgu is basic when compared to the advanced pharm in most NP programs.

I'm having the opposite problem. I've been accepted into a post grad program and they will accept the pharm and assessment from wgu, but not the patho.

I had no problem with being accepted into my Psych NP program at the University of Cincinnati, They accepted my 3 P's with no issues.

University of Colorado. Sorry for the two year late reply LOL. I've graduated and now stressing about if California Board of Registered Nursing will accept WGU's advanced pharmacology. WGU's MSN is more trouble than it's worth. It saved me a lot of time getting my Nurse-Midwifery Certification but such a headache.
Texas BON still won't grant me a license. I'm working in Washington state. One door shuts a better one with full practice authority opens. Dfwpmhnp is actually WAstatepmhnp...LOL.

Congratulations! Why is Texas refusing you?
Same reason old reason WGU's c155 "patho" course which its not a dedicated patho course. Its a patho pharm course apparently.
