    Going from LTC to Ortho/Rehab

First of all, congratulations on making it out of the LTC environment. The hospital rehab setting will provide better opportunities especially if you decide to go back for your RN.
  2. I have said it before , and will say it again..... The quality of education will matter more as the market becomes more and more saturated .

    United States university FNP

I always advise against attending for-profit schools not because they do not product quality students but rather the perception. The current trajectory indicates that the schools you attend for your NP program will become a huge factor for employment due to the over saturation of the job market.

Does anyone here actually like nursing?

Most nurses are passionate about caring for their patients. The frustration most have is with management.
  14. babatee

    I hate fake call outs.

...in addition, those nurses that the same grandmother always dies monthly. I see you
  15. babatee

I think I'm gonna quit nursing

There are many opportunities in nursing apart from being a bedside nurse. I want to assure you that most of the nurses that have read your post understand the frustration you are currently going through. Take out time to explore other aspects of the profession before throwing in the towel.
