:yeah:

Congrats to you, and many more with your new career at your feet. Thanks for sharing the story of how many times. For some of us who have taken it a few times, and waiting to get to the other side of the fence (like me!). It is a motivating story to share!!

This is inspirational to hear because I have also tried in the last two years, six times. I have been to Kaplan reviews twice and ATI plus the Kaplan online. I also took a six week short review course this summer at my school I graduated from. I am trying not to give up but it is really hard for me to move forward with my recent attempt of the NCLEX a week ago. I can re-test in 45 days. I am currently not working so will have to work really hard everyday for the next six weeks. I have Saunders Review CD, ATI Content Review Book, Exam Cram, 3500 Review Book. What more can I possibly do? I had all 265 qts last two times. Please help if anyone cares!!:uhoh3::confused::mad:

Have you tried hurst review...I am telling you hurst review is something else... I have done all other reviews but make sure that you do hurst ( the CD/video is what i'm talking about ..you have to listen to the lecture)

You have to remember two things about the NCLEX, it is not really a knowledge test, it is application, and the best review is to due as many questions as possible. The test asks questions that make you employ critical thinking, my test was priorities, which person would you treat first, precautions, airbornes, contact etc. and what should you look out for. Remember always your ABC, airway, breathing, circulation and maslow's priorities. That said some people are just bad test takers, too much stress, can't think, relax you can do this. I did the ATI review, my school paid for it, and bought the NCLEX book and did questions everyday, it kind of gets you familiar with the questions, just remember to use books with rationales, and do more questions when ever you can. You will pass this.

Thanks guys for the info. I'll keep you posted once I land a job.

I landed a job this week. 3 day 12 hr shift. There's night differential so pay is not bad at all! Good luck to all you guys who are still job hunting. Just keep passing your CV and try to get an interview. Make your CV impressive and follow up with HR to get an interview. It's different when nurse recruiter see you in person. Again, good luck!

That's awesome!!! Good Luck with the new job .

I'm still trying to pass the exam :crying2:. I've been trying to get a hold of Gapuz's book (hard book to find). Maybe that will help.

Have a Wonderful Holiday and may the New Year be a good one to those who still need to pass!!

Just recently I passed the board exam and I'm happy to announce that finally I am BSN/RN!!!!It's been two years since I graduated from nursing school. I took it 8 times but I'm not ashamed of it. So for those who haven't passed yet, I am a living proof that there's a chance and while you're still alive there's hope, okay! Btw, I didn't answer much questions this time maybe like 300-400 questions in all. Instead I concentrated on content review. I bought ABC of Passing the Nclex exam by Gapuz. For those who are preparing for the boards...GOODLUCK! If I passed...the more you will!!!

CONGRATS YOU ARE AN RN!!!!!!!!! AHHH!!!!! :D :D :D One BIG question for you (I took NCLEX yesterday for first time and i'm FREAKED out). Did you try the pearson vue trick each time, did it work each time! PLEASEeee let me know!! CONGRATS AGAIN :yeah::yeah::yeah:

I have taken it 3 times now and the PVT has been correct each and every time so it is def. a good indicator as to whether or not you passed!
