  1. Go to their website and email ray Gapuz. I think they have a review center in CA.
  2. Never tried the pearsonvue trick.
  3. I landed a job this week. 3 day 12 hr shift. There's night differential so pay is not bad at all! Good luck to all you guys who are still job hunting. Just keep passing your CV and try to get an interview. Make your CV impressive and follow up with HR to get an interview. It's different when nurse recruiter see you in person. Again, good luck!
  4. Good for you!
  5. Yes, that's the right attitude. Never give up!:)
  6. Thanks guys for the info. I'll keep you posted once I land a job.
  7. Where are you job hunting? What state if you don't mind me asking? I'm from North Jersey and if I can't find a job in NJ then I'll probably apply for a reciprocity and apply in NY.
  8. I recently passed nclex and waiting for the actual license in the mail. Do I have to be IV certified right away to increase my chances of landing a job? If so, do you know any hospital in North Jersey that offer the course and how much? Your input will be highly appreciated. Thanks!
  9. Right now I started applying around the area where I live. I am not in a hurry though bec my license is not with me yet. Since it's been two years I contacted all my friends and former classmates so they can help me find a job. I guess networking is the best! I'll let you guys know when I land on one. Thanks!:thankya:
  10. I got the book through my cousin. It worked for me. I guess it depends on how you study.
  11. I did not use NCLEX RN in a Flash by Ray Gapuz (available at Barnes and Nobles). I used Mosby's Elsevier The ABC of passing the NCLEX-RN EXAM by Ray Gapuz. You can only buy it in the Philippines. Sorry for the confusion.
  12. Just to clarify, I graduated from NJ so I didn't have to take the local board in the Philippines.
  13. What hospital is this? I'm from North Jersey. If they are hiring I will apply there.
  14. That is exactly what I have.
  15. Buy the Mosby Gapuz Book. ABC of Passing Nclex Exam. You can buy it from Barnes and Nobles. Read it for 1-2 wks then practice few questions (it worked for me) or depends on how many questions you want. Then rest for a day before taking the exam.
