Passed my NCLEX !!

Published

Just wanted to post that I graduated from MCC (yeah) and I passed my NCLEX!! I've missed being on these boards for a while, but school was just in the forefront. Good luck to all who are following.

Proud to be a HootnholleRN!! (I need a fist pump icon...just imagine it, okay? lol)

CONGRATS!!!:yeah:

Out of curiosity, when did you graduate? Do you already have a job lined up?

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.

Congratulations, new RN!

Congrats! When did you graduate?? How long did it take for all the paperwork to go through? How long before you were notified that you passed?

I apologize if I'm asking questions which are too personal. I just moved up here from Oklahoma and have very little information on anything!

BUT seriously, CONGRATULATIONS! Hopefully, I'll join the club in the next month or so.

Congrats!!!! I hope to be in your shoes VERY SOON!!!!

Thanks :)

I graduated mid- May 2010. I submitted my paperwork about eight weeks before graduation and I was fortunate to get a really early NCLEX appt. I was able to find out my results from Pearson Vue a full 48 hours after I finished my test. I did pay the 8 bucks...(impatient) , and my license number posted on the Michigan Nursing website 4 days after I took the test.

I don't have any jobs lined up because I am spending time with my kids this summer.

Good luck to those of you who are working on it!

Hoot

Wow,

Thank you for all the information! Much Appreciated! :yeah:Congratulations!

:ancong!::w00t::w00t: How exciting.

Specializes in Trauma, Cardiac Cath/Special procedures.

what did you use to prepare for the Nclex? I'm thinking about the Kaplan course, but I've also heard about the Hurst review>

I am currently doing the Kaplan review. They teach you "how" to answer a NCLEX level question while HURST is more geared to content with some questions sprinkled in. If you need to brush up on your content and are comfortable with NCLEX level questions, then I'd save the money and do HURST or one of the online programs. If you're struggling with the questions, ie. "narrow it down to, two answers" or "not sure what the question is asking," then I'd suggest Kaplan.

congrats..i know the feeling
