Hello Everyone,
Just a little note to say I passed the CPNE at Gwinnett Med. Ctr. in Atlanta this past weekend. I would like to thank everyone for the prayers and well wishes. I would like to say a special thank you to anticoagulation nurse for all the helpful and valuable info you sent me. I read ag01medic's post before I wrote this and I agree with everything he has to say. The two main reasons that more than half the students at GMC failed this past weekend was letting their nerves get the best of them, and not following the critical elements off their grid. The CE's do not fail you, because you fail yourself by not knowing the critical elements by heart. So I will say this as well, if you do not know your critical elements and do not feel comfortable in your skills, then do not waste your money and take a cancellation date as some of the people this past weekend had done, just to be able to take the test sooner. Also if you want to attend a workshop, then pay for and go to Excelsior's. There were also several of these students who failed and had gone to someone else's workshop, just because it didn't cost as much. FYI, I went to an Excelsior workshop in Atlanta in March and it gave me tons of useful info and experience that came "straight from the horse's mouth." Once again I will say thank you to everyone and wish all future CPNE'ers the best of luck. :roll

I'm sorry that I did not respond to you yet Sue. As you can imagine, I have been a little busy with getting my new life together. I really do appreciate your and everyone else's prayer's and support. I know without a doubt that it was God standing behind me and holding me upright all weekend. I kept repeating Psalms 23 in my head over and over. And thank you also nurse hobbit.

When you get back to planet earth, can you share more about you experience with GMC? This is where I will most likely dp my CPNE since it is only 2.5 hr from where I live.
