Parkland ER Residency July 2014

Just wanted to let ya'll know Parkland has posted the ER residency for July 2014 if anyone is interested. :)

I'm sorry! I meant to ask Nurse2be if they had heard back!! I know that you did TWU and congrats again!!!!

I have not either!! Hoping that we are still in the running! I emailed HR today but she is out of the office until tomorrow so I'll let you know what I hear back.

Thanks, TWU80 - I was able to apply:) I had a great Capstone experience there and was able to speak with one of the managers about applying, so I am looking forward to the opportunity to interview!

great dfwnurse2be, glad i was able to help. I still know some of the nurses there and i was there 2x, once as a asst unit manager. So good luck and hope you get it!

have not heard from any of the ones who got the ER residency and those that did not (know a few of both). Let me know and hope you see a lot of you in July! be safe out there!

Just Applied for SICU, throwing my hat in the ring all the way from Wisconsin. Figured it was worth a shot. Let the games begin.:yes:

will always tell you to take the shot. The worse thing they can do is tell you no. Just realize if you don't get in this time, they will probably have another residency in the fall and again in February. Keep trying for those that don't make it the first time. It will make you stronger.

Still nothing from ER either way....I will be interviewing for SICU next week though! :). Any others that were still waiting on ER hear anything??

Will congrats on the interview! Check out the SICU residency parkland that I started. A current SICU nurse has written good info on the unit, might help in the interview.
